In this episode of Digital Coffee Gaming Brew, host Brett Geiser delves into the internal conflicts at BioWare, discussing former lead writer David Gator's revelations about EA's preference for Mass Effect over Dragon Age and the challenges faced by the Dragon Age team. The episode also covers the release of Lords of the Fallen 2.0, updates on the next Battlefield game, and NVIDIA's new GPU drivers. Other game updates include Skull and Bones Year Two, Assassin's Creed sales figures, and Overwatch 2's new stadium mode. Additionally, Geiser touches on broader industry topics like government views on video games, China's tech claims, and impending tariffs on tech products.
Here are 7 key themes discussed in this episode:
- Bioware’s internal conflicts and EA’s marketing missteps
- Updates and content changes in Lords of the Fallen
- Battlefield’s new features and skill-based matchmaking
- NVIDIA GPU driver issues and pricing challenges
- Ubisoft’s sales strategies and Skull and Bones content
- Overwatch 2’s new Stadium mode and player base
- Societal views on video games and male participation
Here are three fun facts from this episode:
- The new "Stadium" mode in Overwatch 2 will be a big change, featuring third-person gameplay, unique hero abilities, and no hero swapping, leaning more into MOBA-style strategy.
- Lords of the Fallen 2.0 now includes a free Friends Pass and co-op play, plus over 50 post-launch updates, making it a much bigger and more social experience.
- Skull and Bones is finally getting land combat—years after release—so players can soon jump off their ships for sword fighting and firearm battles on land.

00:00:00 --> 00:00:03 And welcome to a new episode of digital coffee
00:00:03 --> 00:00:06 gaming brew. And I'm your host Brett Deister. If
00:00:06 --> 00:00:08 you could please subscribe to this podcast and
00:00:08 --> 00:00:11 all your favorite podcasting apps really does
00:00:11 --> 00:00:15 help. But this week I'm going to be talking about
00:00:15 --> 00:00:19 some drama and interesting things going that
00:00:19 --> 00:00:23 basically was going on with bio where the apparently
00:00:23 --> 00:00:25 the mass effect team, the dragon age team didn't
00:00:25 --> 00:00:27 really like it and he didn't really understand
00:00:27 --> 00:00:30 how to market it. So that's going to be an interesting
00:00:30 --> 00:00:33 thing to talk about. Also Lords of the Fallen
00:00:33 --> 00:00:36 2 .0 is out. We're gonna be talking about that.
00:00:36 --> 00:00:40 The next battlefield game and some interesting
00:00:40 --> 00:00:42 things they're testing out is probably the best
00:00:42 --> 00:00:46 way of saying it. All right, Nvidia's new GPU
00:00:46 --> 00:00:52 drivers are out. And when we talk about Skull
00:00:52 --> 00:00:56 and Bones year two, because that's still a thing,
00:00:56 --> 00:00:59 apparently. talking a little bit about Assassin's
00:00:59 --> 00:01:02 Creed shadows and like the sales of it because
00:01:02 --> 00:01:06 they never give numbers and it's a very interesting
00:01:06 --> 00:01:08 thing that's going on because before they would
00:01:08 --> 00:01:10 actually give numbers it's the best -selling
00:01:10 --> 00:01:13 one numbers it is selling really well here are
00:01:13 --> 00:01:17 the numbers but this one is it's the best -selling
00:01:17 --> 00:01:19 no numbers just take our word for it type of
00:01:19 --> 00:01:23 thing and talk about that and a little bit about
00:01:23 --> 00:01:25 overwatch 2 and its new stadium mode i have not
00:01:25 --> 00:01:29 played it A little news about June awakening
00:01:29 --> 00:01:32 and it's not great news, but it's news in general.
00:01:32 --> 00:01:35 King and come deliverance to update. We're going
00:01:35 --> 00:01:38 to talk a little bit about marathon and people
00:01:38 --> 00:01:43 aren't that excited about it. Also, we're talking
00:01:43 --> 00:01:51 about apparently the GOP thinks that men play
00:01:51 --> 00:01:54 video games all day. And that's why it's a drain
00:01:54 --> 00:01:56 on Medicare and not really the underlying issues
00:01:56 --> 00:01:59 and just playing video games. And so we talk
00:01:59 --> 00:02:01 a little bit about that and why they're wrong
00:02:01 --> 00:02:07 because apparently it's just one of those things.
00:02:07 --> 00:02:11 We're talking about the tariffs and kind of China's
00:02:11 --> 00:02:13 technology and why you never trust what China
00:02:13 --> 00:02:16 says because it really, you just never trust
00:02:16 --> 00:02:19 what they say. They have said amazing things
00:02:19 --> 00:02:21 about their stuff. And then when you look at
00:02:21 --> 00:02:23 the numbers or look at the physical product,
00:02:24 --> 00:02:26 it's not actually what they say it is. So they're
00:02:26 --> 00:02:27 always lying about it, which is always funny
00:02:27 --> 00:02:31 to me. Anyways, let's go home with the show.
00:02:44 --> 00:02:48 That's good. All right. Hope you're having a
00:02:48 --> 00:02:53 fabulous. Friday because it is Friday, but we're
00:02:53 --> 00:02:56 going to get into the first thing about Bioware
00:02:56 --> 00:03:00 because apparently it wasn't all rainbows and
00:03:00 --> 00:03:03 sunshine at Bioware when there was Mass Effect
00:03:03 --> 00:03:05 and Dragon Age. Fortunately, there's no more
00:03:05 --> 00:03:09 Dragon Age, but from the former lead writer at
00:03:09 --> 00:03:12 Bioware, David Gator, I think his last name,
00:03:12 --> 00:03:15 sorry if I mispronounce it claims that during
00:03:15 --> 00:03:18 his time at the company, he preferred the mass
00:03:18 --> 00:03:22 fix series over dragon age. He worked at Bioware
00:03:22 --> 00:03:24 for nearly two decades and was involved in every
00:03:24 --> 00:03:27 dragon age except for the veil guard wise move.
00:03:28 --> 00:03:30 He stated that EA's marketing favored mass effect
00:03:30 --> 00:03:33 because it was perceived as modern and action
00:03:33 --> 00:03:38 oriented, which is funny because boulders gate
00:03:38 --> 00:03:43 three. So clearly the EA hires the dumbest marketers
00:03:43 --> 00:03:47 that don't really understand games or gamers.
00:03:47 --> 00:03:51 So you may be wondering why EA is doing so terribly.
00:03:51 --> 00:03:57 Hire better marketers. Anyways, he expressed
00:03:57 --> 00:04:00 that Dragon Age was always just shy of the acts
00:04:00 --> 00:04:05 since Dragon Age origins. He noted that the variations
00:04:05 --> 00:04:08 in Dragon Age games might be due to Bioware team's
00:04:08 --> 00:04:12 tendency to overreact to feedback and criticism
00:04:12 --> 00:04:16 along with EA's influence. So the game was all
00:04:16 --> 00:04:21 about an overreaction to what was going on and
00:04:21 --> 00:04:24 just poor hiring practices, putting people in
00:04:24 --> 00:04:26 leadership positions that they should never been
00:04:26 --> 00:04:29 in. Listening to the crazies is probably another
00:04:29 --> 00:04:32 reason why it's why the veil guard didn't do
00:04:32 --> 00:04:36 very well. Secondly, I've played a bit of it.
00:04:36 --> 00:04:38 I'm never excited to play it. I'm interested
00:04:38 --> 00:04:41 to see it, but every time I play it, I get bored
00:04:41 --> 00:04:45 because it's just not, it's not a good game overall.
00:04:45 --> 00:04:50 The writing is not great. And the look of it
00:04:50 --> 00:04:54 feels way too cartoony inquisition and the other
00:04:54 --> 00:04:57 ones. So it should have been its own game, meaning
00:04:57 --> 00:05:00 it should have just renamed it to something else.
00:05:01 --> 00:05:03 Probably would have sold better. But when you
00:05:03 --> 00:05:06 have a specific like art style, and writing direction
00:05:06 --> 00:05:09 of it and you completely flip it it doesn't do
00:05:09 --> 00:05:17 well anyways he also previously criticized ea
00:05:17 --> 00:05:20 suggesting they should follow learning studios
00:05:20 --> 00:05:23 approach with boulders gate 3 after ea indicated
00:05:23 --> 00:05:27 that The veil guard did not resonate with a broad
00:05:27 --> 00:05:30 enough audience because he didn't make it for
00:05:30 --> 00:05:33 a broad enough audience. You make a game for
00:05:33 --> 00:05:36 the majority of people. The majority of people
00:05:36 --> 00:05:39 do not resonate with gender ideology. You don't
00:05:39 --> 00:05:42 make it for that. That is a very specific, very
00:05:42 --> 00:05:47 niche and very unsuccessful way of making a successful
00:05:47 --> 00:05:51 game. Majority of people do not agree with it.
00:05:51 --> 00:05:54 So stop putting it in your games. It's that simple.
00:05:58 --> 00:06:01 The creator and former lead writer of Dragon
00:06:01 --> 00:06:03 Age discussed the experience at Bioware before
00:06:03 --> 00:06:05 leaving in 2016. He noted that the two teams
00:06:05 --> 00:06:09 had a very different cultures and operated almost
00:06:09 --> 00:06:12 like separate studios, which makes sense when
00:06:12 --> 00:06:15 you form teams around specific things, each team
00:06:15 --> 00:06:18 will be different from the other one. That's
00:06:18 --> 00:06:23 just how humans are. He was asked by bioware
00:06:23 --> 00:06:27 management to write a science fantasy story for
00:06:27 --> 00:06:30 the game anthem which was initially which initially
00:06:30 --> 00:06:33 has been Conceived as a hard sci -fi setting
00:06:33 --> 00:06:36 he received feedback from anthem team that he
00:06:36 --> 00:06:39 was his writing was to Dragon Age Leading to
00:06:39 --> 00:06:41 difficulties in his role. First of all, the dude
00:06:41 --> 00:06:44 created Dragon Age origin So you shouldn't be
00:06:44 --> 00:06:45 criticizing him at all because that wasn't a
00:06:45 --> 00:06:48 fantastic game fantastic writing Dragon Age 2
00:06:48 --> 00:06:51 was still pretty good in position was All right.
00:06:51 --> 00:06:55 To be fair, it just, it got not as good as origins,
00:06:55 --> 00:06:59 but origins was really good in the writing terms.
00:07:00 --> 00:07:02 I'll even put inquisition is still pretty good
00:07:02 --> 00:07:05 writing for what it was because Velgar just kind
00:07:05 --> 00:07:09 of like just killed it. Didn't do very well.
00:07:11 --> 00:07:13 He mentioned that anthem team appeared to be
00:07:13 --> 00:07:17 asking Against me making an RPG and did not provide
00:07:17 --> 00:07:20 him with the necessary tools for storytelling
00:07:20 --> 00:07:24 After 17 years at Bioware he left following a
00:07:24 --> 00:07:26 failed attempt to negotiate a creative director
00:07:26 --> 00:07:28 position Expresses that decided to leave the
00:07:28 --> 00:07:32 company post by where he developed stray gods
00:07:32 --> 00:07:35 the role -playing musical and is working on a
00:07:35 --> 00:07:39 project called Mayas apparently it's a card deck
00:07:39 --> 00:07:41 building game, but we're continue to work on
00:07:41 --> 00:07:44 anthem for several years, which ultimately didn't
00:07:44 --> 00:07:46 happen. They can't do it, but it's a really interesting
00:07:46 --> 00:07:49 thing that's happening. So the same company,
00:07:50 --> 00:07:53 but the teams hate each other, which goes with
00:07:53 --> 00:07:56 cultural problems. You're supposed to be, cause
00:07:56 --> 00:07:58 he supposed to be a main cohesive team with your
00:07:58 --> 00:08:01 own specific cultures. And if someone from that
00:08:01 --> 00:08:03 team comes over there, it shouldn't be looked
00:08:03 --> 00:08:07 as negative. And if the dude wrote Dragon Age
00:08:07 --> 00:08:10 origins, you probably should listen to the dude
00:08:10 --> 00:08:15 or help write it or whatever. You should listen
00:08:15 --> 00:08:20 to him. He creates great stories. Anthem was
00:08:20 --> 00:08:24 okay. Apparently not entirely his fault because
00:08:24 --> 00:08:27 if the team doesn't help you out, you're screwed
00:08:27 --> 00:08:32 with creating really great stories within the
00:08:32 --> 00:08:34 game. Anthem seemed to be doomed to fail because
00:08:34 --> 00:08:36 the team was a little too pretentious, a little
00:08:36 --> 00:08:39 too entitled, and very narcissistic about, oh,
00:08:39 --> 00:08:44 it's too much Dragon Age. How dare you? plebs
00:08:44 --> 00:08:47 that play RPGs. We are not RPGs, even though
00:08:47 --> 00:08:52 our company was basically founded on RPGs. That's
00:08:52 --> 00:08:55 how they got popular. They created Boulders Gate
00:08:55 --> 00:08:58 and Boulders Gate 2, which if you haven't played,
00:08:58 --> 00:09:00 I recommend you playing Boulders Gate 2 is better,
00:09:00 --> 00:09:06 but they're both really good games. So you can't
00:09:06 --> 00:09:09 hark on that. And it's another reason why Velgar
00:09:09 --> 00:09:12 just wasn't as good because it felt like it was
00:09:13 --> 00:09:17 Basically Mass Effect with dragons The comments
00:09:17 --> 00:09:21 not that good. It's okay, but there's no depth
00:09:21 --> 00:09:29 to it It's very repetitive It was just not a
00:09:29 --> 00:09:32 good game I know that Bioware had asked for help
00:09:32 --> 00:09:35 from the Mass Effect team to create combat for
00:09:35 --> 00:09:37 it So I know exactly where it came from because
00:09:37 --> 00:09:41 it feels very Mass Effect in Mass Effect. It
00:09:41 --> 00:09:47 has great combat but not in this sense. It's
00:09:47 --> 00:09:51 tragic because Bioware used to be a great developer
00:09:51 --> 00:09:56 with great games. Bulls gate to nights, a little
00:09:56 --> 00:10:02 Republic Jada empire. Great game. Never winter
00:10:02 --> 00:10:04 nights. I haven't played that. Recommend you
00:10:04 --> 00:10:09 playing it. And then I'm sitting just made better
00:10:09 --> 00:10:14 versions of it. Never went to nights to nights
00:10:14 --> 00:10:17 or public to by far the better story out of the
00:10:17 --> 00:10:20 two execution. Not so good because it was, they
00:10:20 --> 00:10:27 were rushed, but better story overall. It's what
00:10:27 --> 00:10:31 do you do? And it seems like EA doesn't want
00:10:31 --> 00:10:35 them to succeed. They just don't know how to
00:10:35 --> 00:10:40 market and a fantasy RPG. Are you serious right
00:10:40 --> 00:10:44 now? Mass Effect was quote -unquote better. They
00:10:44 --> 00:10:47 were both great games. First of all, Dragon Age
00:10:47 --> 00:10:50 is a fantastic game. It was a spiritual successor
00:10:50 --> 00:10:54 of Baldur's Gate. If the marketing director from
00:10:54 --> 00:10:57 whatever team did not tell them to play the games
00:10:57 --> 00:11:01 to understand it better, terrible boss. You should
00:11:01 --> 00:11:03 have your employees being like, look it, play
00:11:03 --> 00:11:06 these games, figure out why players like these
00:11:06 --> 00:11:10 games and market it that way. Didn't happen.
00:11:11 --> 00:11:17 EA is incompetent. They do not hire good people.
00:11:17 --> 00:11:20 They do not hire competent people, unfortunately.
00:11:20 --> 00:11:24 And it shows. It is showed time and time again
00:11:24 --> 00:11:31 when Titanfall 2 came out and you wedged it between
00:11:31 --> 00:11:37 Battlefield and Call of Duty. Stupid move. Who
00:11:37 --> 00:11:40 thought that was a good strategy? And people
00:11:40 --> 00:11:42 love Titanfall too. They still want to play.
00:11:42 --> 00:11:45 They're still asking for another Titanfall game
00:11:45 --> 00:11:51 because Titanfall was a really good game. Like
00:11:51 --> 00:11:54 you hire the wrong people and this is what you
00:11:54 --> 00:11:59 get. Anyways, moving on to Laura, the fallen
00:11:59 --> 00:12:06 two, which is released by CI games. It is a remake
00:12:06 --> 00:12:09 of an older version of Lord of the realm or Lord
00:12:09 --> 00:12:11 of the fallen. I don't want to say Lord of the
00:12:11 --> 00:12:15 realms, which is actual game that is special
00:12:15 --> 00:12:17 successor. One of the recent games, I forget
00:12:17 --> 00:12:21 the game now, but Lord of the fallen 2 .0 is
00:12:21 --> 00:12:24 described as definitive definitive edition of
00:12:24 --> 00:12:27 the game includes over 50 post launch updates.
00:12:27 --> 00:12:29 There is a free friends pass available as part
00:12:29 --> 00:12:32 of the update. A small delay has been announced
00:12:32 --> 00:12:34 for the steam release due to technical issues
00:12:34 --> 00:12:37 while the EA Epic game store, Windows store,
00:12:37 --> 00:12:41 PlayStation five, Xbox S and X versions are unaffected.
00:12:41 --> 00:12:45 It looks like it adds co -op to it as well, which,
00:12:45 --> 00:12:46 Hey, at least they're going with the time. They're
00:12:46 --> 00:12:50 looking at what Elder Ring is doing. They're
00:12:50 --> 00:12:52 like, should probably bring that in as well.
00:12:52 --> 00:12:54 It's not a bad idea for it. And if they're making
00:12:54 --> 00:12:58 a sequel to the game, probably look at what Elder
00:12:58 --> 00:13:01 Ring has done and improve upon that and make
00:13:01 --> 00:13:03 it your own. I think Lord of the Vaulans is a
00:13:03 --> 00:13:05 fine game. I don't think there's Terribly things
00:13:05 --> 00:13:07 wrong with it. I think there was a lot of issues
00:13:07 --> 00:13:09 in the beginning, but I think it's a really good
00:13:09 --> 00:13:14 game All right moving on to the next battlefield
00:13:14 --> 00:13:16 game battlefield six or whatever else is going
00:13:16 --> 00:13:20 to actually be called Doesn't it still doesn't
00:13:20 --> 00:13:21 official name So that's why I said whatever else
00:13:21 --> 00:13:23 it needs to be called fans are participating
00:13:23 --> 00:13:25 in an early build of the game through battlefield
00:13:25 --> 00:13:28 labs play it Play test program participants the
00:13:28 --> 00:13:30 play test have leaked footage despite his non
00:13:30 --> 00:13:32 -disclosure agreement, which I think is really
00:13:32 --> 00:13:34 funny It's like you're not supposed to share
00:13:34 --> 00:13:36 stuff We'll share stuff anyways, because we want
00:13:36 --> 00:13:39 to keep you accountable because of what you did
00:13:39 --> 00:13:41 previously, which is called battlefield 20 42,
00:13:42 --> 00:13:45 which was not a great game when it launched.
00:13:45 --> 00:13:48 It was okay. Not great. I still don't know. I
00:13:48 --> 00:13:50 don't play that much anymore because I don't
00:13:50 --> 00:13:53 really care about it. Play Delta for us. If I
00:13:53 --> 00:13:55 want to better game, which Delta force didn't
00:13:55 --> 00:13:59 have the specialist or whatever they call it.
00:13:59 --> 00:14:03 There it is. But so the controversy right now
00:14:03 --> 00:14:08 is around the skill based matchmaking. Now they
00:14:08 --> 00:14:10 said that this has already been implemented since
00:14:10 --> 00:14:15 2042, which is not the best way of saying it.
00:14:15 --> 00:14:17 Hey, we've implemented in the worst battlefield
00:14:17 --> 00:14:20 game title to date. It's should you really be
00:14:20 --> 00:14:24 adding it? Now the lead producer of battlefield
00:14:24 --> 00:14:28 addressed the rumors about the S B M and the
00:14:28 --> 00:14:33 post state that heavy S B M M where skill separations
00:14:33 --> 00:14:35 prioritize is considered problematic, but having
00:14:35 --> 00:14:39 a skill value for matchmaking is necessary for
00:14:39 --> 00:14:41 balanced teams. But it didn't really work all
00:14:41 --> 00:14:44 the time because there were times where I played
00:14:44 --> 00:14:49 and it was very unbalanced. So I get it. But
00:14:49 --> 00:14:52 yeah, if you're going to do this type of like
00:14:52 --> 00:14:56 matchmaking skills should be like the least amount
00:14:56 --> 00:14:59 it should be judging on because it's battlefield,
00:14:59 --> 00:15:01 big battlefield. You're going to have tons of
00:15:01 --> 00:15:04 other players playing. It doesn't really matter
00:15:04 --> 00:15:09 as much then. Call of Duty, which is smaller
00:15:09 --> 00:15:12 maps. You know, I don't really agree with it
00:15:12 --> 00:15:15 and I think X to find it a good job of not really
00:15:15 --> 00:15:20 having it. But if you're going to have it. Skill
00:15:20 --> 00:15:25 should be the least thing you worry about. It
00:15:25 --> 00:15:28 should be the lowest value for figuring out who
00:15:28 --> 00:15:32 plays the game. If you do that, it'll be successful.
00:15:33 --> 00:15:35 If you don't, we're going to have problems and
00:15:35 --> 00:15:37 people are very skeptical and they should, and
00:15:37 --> 00:15:40 they should be because battlefield 20 42 is a
00:15:40 --> 00:15:43 great example of what not to do for a game. Scoreboard
00:15:43 --> 00:15:47 really wasn't there. There were tons of problems.
00:15:48 --> 00:15:53 in it, just performance issues was lacking. Specialists
00:15:53 --> 00:15:56 were just half begged. I think 128 players can
00:15:56 --> 00:16:00 work, but they have to be very well designed
00:16:00 --> 00:16:05 maps. But I do think there is a way to make it
00:16:05 --> 00:16:09 work. And the vanilla games were, vanilla maps
00:16:09 --> 00:16:13 were not good. There were too many open sight
00:16:13 --> 00:16:17 lines for snipers to kill you on. And that was
00:16:17 --> 00:16:20 the biggest issue of all of it. And the maps
00:16:20 --> 00:16:24 look like there was never a battle being waged
00:16:24 --> 00:16:28 ever. And this was supposed to be like civilization
00:16:28 --> 00:16:30 has fallen everywhere type of thing. And it's
00:16:30 --> 00:16:35 like that it was just like the setting was great.
00:16:35 --> 00:16:39 The execution of the setting was not. Destruction
00:16:39 --> 00:16:42 really wasn't there anymore, even though it was
00:16:42 --> 00:16:44 like the best destruction we ever had. I'm like,
00:16:44 --> 00:16:49 dude, like it's not like Battlefield 5 had better
00:16:49 --> 00:16:51 destruction. Battlefield 1 had better destruction.
00:16:51 --> 00:16:56 The previous titles that were subpar or better
00:16:56 --> 00:17:00 had better destruction than this game did. Portal
00:17:00 --> 00:17:03 was the saving grace, which they basically ignored.
00:17:04 --> 00:17:06 I'm glad it's supposedly coming back as Portal
00:17:06 --> 00:17:10 2 .0, but you cannot ignore this game mode. I
00:17:10 --> 00:17:13 keep on saying you bring back Portal again, put
00:17:13 --> 00:17:17 all the previous Battlefields in that. It will
00:17:17 --> 00:17:20 save you and it will make the game last as long
00:17:20 --> 00:17:25 as possible even post development and even after
00:17:25 --> 00:17:29 after Support is done People will come back to
00:17:29 --> 00:17:31 play it people come back to play battlefield
00:17:31 --> 00:17:33 for people come back to play battlefield one
00:17:33 --> 00:17:36 Why because these games were really good battlefield
00:17:36 --> 00:17:39 for was not good When it was launched it took
00:17:39 --> 00:17:42 a year to actually fix the map which people seem
00:17:42 --> 00:17:46 to forget The game was awful when it launched
00:17:46 --> 00:17:50 battlefield for was horrendous. I, I got cut
00:17:50 --> 00:17:53 out of matches so many times. I didn't play it
00:17:53 --> 00:17:54 for a while because I'm like, I don't really
00:17:54 --> 00:17:57 want to deal with this. Evolution was okay. It
00:17:57 --> 00:18:01 was more of a gimmick than anything else, but
00:18:01 --> 00:18:05 it was there. See, just saying hi, Shanghai is
00:18:05 --> 00:18:07 still, I still enjoy playing it. It's one of
00:18:07 --> 00:18:10 my favorite maps. I can battlefield two maps
00:18:10 --> 00:18:13 a little bit more. They were a little bit harder
00:18:13 --> 00:18:17 to do. Gulf of Mormon is, I still find fun, you
00:18:17 --> 00:18:21 know, you have a terrible team or screwed. They
00:18:21 --> 00:18:25 need to lean in on their past stuff and try to
00:18:25 --> 00:18:30 implement them into portal. I'm portal should
00:18:30 --> 00:18:32 actually be battlefield. Battlefield should be
00:18:32 --> 00:18:35 portal. You put the old games in and then you
00:18:35 --> 00:18:38 just have a new game and you put it into portal
00:18:38 --> 00:18:40 and then you have these different portals to
00:18:40 --> 00:18:43 go to different types of games is the best way
00:18:43 --> 00:18:45 going forward. They want a live service. Portal
00:18:45 --> 00:18:49 is your future Now whatever you're trying to
00:18:49 --> 00:18:52 do, which I swear if you put but more call of
00:18:52 --> 00:18:55 duty stuff in here, I will not play your game
00:18:55 --> 00:19:03 Forget that All right, so Nvidia is releasing
00:19:03 --> 00:19:13 a new gpu driver version 50 sorry 576 .02 on
00:19:13 --> 00:19:17 Not already happened April 16th, 2025. The driver
00:19:17 --> 00:19:19 includes numerous fixes for bugs and crashes
00:19:19 --> 00:19:23 affecting its game ready drivers. Reports of
00:19:23 --> 00:19:25 issues include black screens, game crashes, and
00:19:25 --> 00:19:29 general stability problems. The driver fixes
00:19:29 --> 00:19:33 stability issues with Windows 11 version 24H2,
00:19:33 --> 00:19:37 which I have, and a BSOD or blue screen of death
00:19:37 --> 00:19:43 while playing TLSS4 games with a multi -frame
00:19:43 --> 00:19:46 generation. That's great. Have your most selling
00:19:46 --> 00:19:50 point if you can actually buy a 50 of 5
00:19:50 --> 00:19:54 series and the highlight of the 5 series
00:19:54 --> 00:19:57 crashes your game and crashes your system. Great
00:19:57 --> 00:20:02 addresses random black screened issues with a
00:20:02 --> 00:20:05 50 series GPUs and general system. Stability
00:20:05 --> 00:20:08 is concerned. Specific game related fixes include
00:20:08 --> 00:20:11 crashes in Fortnite, Star Wars, Outlaws and Monster.
00:20:12 --> 00:20:15 Hunter wilds as well as stutter issues in overwatch
00:20:15 --> 00:20:21 2 It's not a new game The release notes indicate
00:20:21 --> 00:20:26 a significant number of fixes Taking up two pages,
00:20:26 --> 00:20:29 which is unusual compared to typical updates
00:20:29 --> 00:20:32 because typical updates aren't that big With
00:20:32 --> 00:20:36 Nvidia to usually AMD that has the worst problems,
00:20:36 --> 00:20:38 but I haven't heard as many problems with AMD,
00:20:38 --> 00:20:41 which is funny Cause video is supposed to be
00:20:41 --> 00:20:45 the good one. And you're not really, I was actually
00:20:45 --> 00:20:48 was going to upgrade my GPU this year. And then
00:20:48 --> 00:20:52 I kept on hearing reports about low sale, like
00:20:52 --> 00:20:56 low viability, higher pricing, not very good
00:20:56 --> 00:20:59 performance from the 40 series to the 5
00:20:59 --> 00:21:02 series. And I'm like, you know what? I know I
00:21:02 --> 00:21:05 have a 30 90, but I'm just going to wait it out.
00:21:05 --> 00:21:08 And then I'm like, you know what? Screw this,
00:21:08 --> 00:21:10 I'll just wait for the 6000 series and maybe
00:21:10 --> 00:21:13 they'll have multi -frame generations and it
00:21:13 --> 00:21:16 won't even matter because it's all a gimmick.
00:21:18 --> 00:21:20 I forgot to mention that the driver also supports
00:21:20 --> 00:21:26 the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti GPUs, which is launching
00:21:26 --> 00:21:29 at the starting price of $379, which actually
00:21:29 --> 00:21:32 will not be the starting price because of tariffs.
00:21:35 --> 00:21:37 I know there's a supposed pause on it, which
00:21:37 --> 00:21:40 we'll get later in the show, but it will not,
00:21:40 --> 00:21:43 that will not be the starting price. I guarantee
00:21:43 --> 00:21:46 you, you're probably going to have to add $200
00:21:46 --> 00:21:48 or more to that. So you're probably going to
00:21:48 --> 00:21:54 be spending about 500 to $600. It's probably
00:21:54 --> 00:21:57 close to 600 to $700 to be really honest with
00:21:57 --> 00:22:03 you. Even the quote unquote, not even mid range
00:22:03 --> 00:22:06 or mid range. GPUs are inching towards the thousand
00:22:06 --> 00:22:11 dollar price point which goes to show you MSRP
00:22:11 --> 00:22:14 does not matter anymore Especially we make it
00:22:14 --> 00:22:16 in China probably shouldn't be making in China
00:22:16 --> 00:22:21 anymore All right moving on to Ubisoft and it
00:22:21 --> 00:22:24 plans for significant content additions to skull
00:22:24 --> 00:22:26 and bones for those that are still actually playing
00:22:26 --> 00:22:30 this game It's here to update including new maps
00:22:30 --> 00:22:34 ships and land combat. Oh my god. They're finally
00:22:34 --> 00:22:40 allowing you to go on land because Someone said
00:22:40 --> 00:22:43 rear one from Microsoft. I don't remember the
00:22:43 --> 00:22:47 name It's basically like a sea of thieves. There
00:22:47 --> 00:22:50 it is That one already had all this stuff. Plus
00:22:50 --> 00:22:52 you can get on other people's boats. Plus you
00:22:52 --> 00:22:55 could actually Walk around your boat. It was
00:22:55 --> 00:23:00 amazing technology that came out several years
00:23:00 --> 00:23:05 before this game. Ubisoft is just, they can't
00:23:05 --> 00:23:07 catch a break, but it's also their fault. They
00:23:07 --> 00:23:11 can't catch a break a lot of times. So your two
00:23:11 --> 00:23:16 showcase occurred April 14th, 2025, the season
00:23:16 --> 00:23:19 three guts and glory will introduce land combat
00:23:19 --> 00:23:21 and allowing players to engage in sword fighting
00:23:21 --> 00:23:26 and firearm combat. Wow. Amazing. A game that
00:23:26 --> 00:23:29 launched a few years ago finally has land combat.
00:23:33 --> 00:23:37 This is truly an early access game. This game
00:23:37 --> 00:23:40 was not launched to be complete and that has
00:23:40 --> 00:23:44 been Ubisoft's MO for a little too long and they
00:23:44 --> 00:23:46 deserve everything that's coming to them because
00:23:46 --> 00:23:52 this is a travesty. Players will be able to rescue
00:23:52 --> 00:23:55 skilled crew members known as officers during
00:23:55 --> 00:23:59 season three. Ooh, season one title ascent into
00:23:59 --> 00:24:03 chaos launches on April 15th, 2025. So it's already
00:24:03 --> 00:24:07 live and includes a loot enhancing item feature,
00:24:08 --> 00:24:11 challenging world tiers and a new schooner medium
00:24:11 --> 00:24:17 ship and a death tides PVP mode. Season two oath
00:24:17 --> 00:24:20 of war will launch in September. It'll be summer
00:24:20 --> 00:24:25 of 2025 featuring mega forts and frigate larger,
00:24:25 --> 00:24:29 large ships. All right. Bigger forts. Kind of
00:24:29 --> 00:24:33 sounds like Lego. Season four eye of the beast
00:24:33 --> 00:24:36 will introduce the Kraken and hunters guild this
00:24:36 --> 00:24:40 winter free weekend of skull and bones will take
00:24:40 --> 00:24:43 place from September 17th, which is right now
00:24:43 --> 00:24:47 to September 21st, 2025, allowing players to
00:24:47 --> 00:24:50 try the game and purchase it at a reduced price
00:24:50 --> 00:24:54 because nobody is really playing this game. Skull
00:24:54 --> 00:24:57 and bones was released on February 16th, 2024
00:24:57 --> 00:25:01 for PC PlayStation five and Xbox series as the
00:25:01 --> 00:25:04 game was received from IGN, which is seven out
00:25:04 --> 00:25:06 of 10, which you probably need to knock down
00:25:06 --> 00:25:10 like two extra ones, five out of 10. It was not
00:25:10 --> 00:25:13 reports. record player engagement shortly after
00:25:13 --> 00:25:16 the game's release, but did not disclose specific
00:25:16 --> 00:25:19 sales numbers sound familiar because they always
00:25:19 --> 00:25:23 do this now. They're like, it's amazing. We had
00:25:23 --> 00:25:26 record amounts of players playing the game. All
00:25:26 --> 00:25:29 right. Which sales figures don't look at that.
00:25:29 --> 00:25:32 All right. We'll look at steam numbers. That's
00:25:32 --> 00:25:36 not true. Then what is you won't give us the
00:25:36 --> 00:25:38 numbers. You won't really tell us the numbers.
00:25:38 --> 00:25:41 You just say it's doing really well. Trust us,
00:25:41 --> 00:25:45 bro. It's like, okay. The launch of school and
00:25:45 --> 00:25:50 bones coincide with a 200 % increase in players
00:25:50 --> 00:25:54 of playing Assassin's creed for black flag because
00:25:54 --> 00:25:56 it was better because you could actually go to
00:25:56 --> 00:26:01 land at the time. Now you can over a year later,
00:26:01 --> 00:26:07 not really good. All right. Speaking of Sales
00:26:07 --> 00:26:12 numbers and Ubisoft So there's this guy called
00:26:12 --> 00:26:16 Matt. I do want to say his name He's only on
00:26:16 --> 00:26:18 blue sky by the way, so means that he will not
00:26:18 --> 00:26:21 get fact -checked at all I do have an account.
00:26:21 --> 00:26:23 I actually I make a second account because apparently
00:26:23 --> 00:26:27 blocked me Apparently I made him mad by asking
00:26:27 --> 00:26:31 for sales numbers Never asked people to show
00:26:31 --> 00:26:34 their work. So the sales numbers of Assassin's
00:26:34 --> 00:26:37 Creed Shows has been the best -selling video
00:26:37 --> 00:26:40 game in the u .s. By number sales for each of
00:26:40 --> 00:26:44 its first three weeks since launch only three
00:26:44 --> 00:26:48 weeks Data source the information comes from
00:26:48 --> 00:26:52 certain Nana Analyst Matt based on data available
00:26:52 --> 00:26:56 through April 5th, which he never shares Your
00:26:56 --> 00:27:00 date performance your date Assassin's Creed shadow
00:27:00 --> 00:27:03 trails only kept comms mustn't Monster hunter
00:27:03 --> 00:27:07 wilds in sales, which it also trails significantly
00:27:07 --> 00:27:10 by schedule one because schedule one beat out
00:27:10 --> 00:27:14 monster hunters wilds Critical reception the
00:27:14 --> 00:27:17 game has a metacritic rating of 81 characterizes
00:27:17 --> 00:27:23 generally favorable 80 % on 16 steam reviewers
00:27:23 --> 00:27:28 Steam user reviews are positive ranking overall
00:27:28 --> 00:27:32 reviews as very positive Reason of the game has
00:27:32 --> 00:27:35 continued update player the player base the game
00:27:35 --> 00:27:38 has generally Reportedly surpassed 2 million
00:27:38 --> 00:27:41 players shortly after launch supposedly because
00:27:41 --> 00:27:43 we don't really know what the numbers are. Here's
00:27:43 --> 00:27:47 my issue with all this I Want to blue skies blue
00:27:47 --> 00:27:50 sky because it was on there because that's where
00:27:50 --> 00:27:53 you post things that you will not be fact -checked
00:27:53 --> 00:27:55 because if you post on X then people will fact
00:27:55 --> 00:27:58 -check it through community notes and Said that
00:27:58 --> 00:28:02 yes, it did sell mind you no sales figures just
00:28:02 --> 00:28:06 trust me bro it did sell well that's not how
00:28:06 --> 00:28:11 you convince people that it did sell well i am
00:28:11 --> 00:28:13 fine if you make a game that sells well that
00:28:13 --> 00:28:16 i think is not very good i'm fine with that but
00:28:16 --> 00:28:20 show your work if it's math show your work if
00:28:20 --> 00:28:23 it's sales figures show your work stop telling
00:28:23 --> 00:28:26 me to trust you bro because you said it something
00:28:26 --> 00:28:30 is Selling that doesn't make any sense Ubisoft
00:28:30 --> 00:28:34 to date has not shared any sales figures on Assassin's
00:28:34 --> 00:28:37 Creed shadows this company Which apparently this
00:28:37 --> 00:28:41 guy has been former has worked previously and
00:28:41 --> 00:28:45 other developers has not shared any data He just
00:28:45 --> 00:28:48 says through the data that I've seen it's sold.
00:28:48 --> 00:28:52 I don't know what that means If you cannot share
00:28:52 --> 00:29:00 your data, it's not true Please share your data.
00:29:00 --> 00:29:04 Let us go through your data. If you can't do
00:29:04 --> 00:29:10 that, then you are being misleading. I am fine
00:29:10 --> 00:29:13 if Assassin's Creed sells well. It will not hurt
00:29:13 --> 00:29:17 me whatsoever. What I am critical of is people,
00:29:18 --> 00:29:21 especially Ubisoft and those people, this dude,
00:29:21 --> 00:29:27 Matt, saying it sold well. Trust me. Not how
00:29:27 --> 00:29:33 this works. Stop saying that. Show where the
00:29:33 --> 00:29:37 numbers are. Show me. If you said it was behind
00:29:37 --> 00:29:43 Monster Hunter Wilds, then show me the data.
00:29:43 --> 00:29:47 But how much was it behind? Was it 30 %? Was
00:29:47 --> 00:29:52 it 10 %? Was it 50 %? What is the data? We've
00:29:52 --> 00:29:54 had 3 million players play the game. What does
00:29:54 --> 00:29:58 that mean? Because Ubisoft has a subscription
00:29:58 --> 00:30:01 service that people can use and they reportedly
00:30:01 --> 00:30:04 have two million players So did you just decide
00:30:04 --> 00:30:06 to put all those two million players be like
00:30:06 --> 00:30:08 look two million players played the game because
00:30:08 --> 00:30:11 they're on our subscription service Which makes
00:30:11 --> 00:30:17 no sense? Like we just want to know the numbers
00:30:17 --> 00:30:23 and you can't provide them it's weird Like previously
00:30:23 --> 00:30:25 when developers were happy about good sales,
00:30:25 --> 00:30:30 they would provide the sales numbers. They don't
00:30:30 --> 00:30:35 I Did well, how will they do trust me not the
00:30:35 --> 00:30:39 good argument? Why are people making worse arguments?
00:30:39 --> 00:30:42 If your game sold you should be wanting to show
00:30:42 --> 00:30:49 the numbers But it's really suspicious wing you
00:30:49 --> 00:30:58 don't It's just weird. All right. Overwatch two
00:30:58 --> 00:31:01 has a new game mode called stadium. It released.
00:31:01 --> 00:31:07 It will be launching on April 22nd, 2025 and
00:31:07 --> 00:31:09 same mode is considered significant change the
00:31:09 --> 00:31:14 game. Reason being is because you it's, it leans
00:31:14 --> 00:31:17 more into the Moab type of a thing with different
00:31:17 --> 00:31:19 types of abilities, different types of things
00:31:19 --> 00:31:21 you can do with the character. It's in third
00:31:21 --> 00:31:24 person mode. It's supposed to be the game changer
00:31:24 --> 00:31:27 of Overwatch 2. We'll see. It could be fun. Could
00:31:27 --> 00:31:30 be not. It all depends on if players are going
00:31:30 --> 00:31:32 to actually play the game. Let's be honest. Since
00:31:32 --> 00:31:35 Marvel Rivals came out, Overwatch has not been
00:31:35 --> 00:31:37 doing very well. It has lost a bunch of players
00:31:37 --> 00:31:41 because players have just become just tired of
00:31:41 --> 00:31:44 just Blizzard in general. Blizzard is not what
00:31:44 --> 00:31:48 it used to be. Blizzard made great games in the
00:31:48 --> 00:31:51 past. The last great game it made was the original
00:31:51 --> 00:31:54 overwatch i will not consider overwatch 2 a great
00:31:54 --> 00:31:59 game because it's not even a two it's just overwatch
00:31:59 --> 00:32:01 one and a half people are right to say that it's
00:32:01 --> 00:32:05 overwatch one and a half but they made starcraft
00:32:05 --> 00:32:12 2 warcraft warcraft 2 warcraft 3 world of warcraft
00:32:12 --> 00:32:18 what do you have a one do you have a two three
00:32:18 --> 00:32:23 four is all right But again, they don't make
00:32:23 --> 00:32:26 a lot of original games anymore. They did have
00:32:26 --> 00:32:33 one development survival game got canned So here
00:32:33 --> 00:32:37 we're at so Same is the best of seven game mode
00:32:37 --> 00:32:40 that includes shorter rounds and allows for strategic
00:32:40 --> 00:32:44 planning between them The mode also allows players
00:32:44 --> 00:32:46 to enhance their heroes with added survivability
00:32:46 --> 00:32:49 damage and ability buffs. The mode will feature
00:32:49 --> 00:32:53 17 heroes and 9 maps at launch with plans for
00:32:53 --> 00:32:56 continual evolution and additional addition of
00:32:56 --> 00:33:01 new heroes. Game director Aaron Keller stated
00:33:01 --> 00:33:04 that stadium mode has been in development since
00:33:04 --> 00:33:07 before Overwatch 2's launch. So why didn't you
00:33:07 --> 00:33:10 just add it into Overwatch 1? There was a content
00:33:10 --> 00:33:13 drought and you... just hold that back until
00:33:13 --> 00:33:17 suspiciously until we see that marvel rivals
00:33:17 --> 00:33:23 is doing well weird so weird city mode is designed
00:33:23 --> 00:33:25 to cater to players desire for more downtime
00:33:25 --> 00:33:28 strategy emphasis on power fantasy the mode eliminates
00:33:28 --> 00:33:31 hero swapping encourages players to build around
00:33:31 --> 00:33:34 their challenges which i would actually play
00:33:34 --> 00:33:38 instead because Alright, I picked this hero.
00:33:38 --> 00:33:41 Alright, I gotta figure out how to make him better
00:33:41 --> 00:33:45 and so to help out the team. It's 5v5 I'm probably
00:33:45 --> 00:33:47 gonna have an issue with it because I don't consider
00:33:47 --> 00:33:51 5v5 a really good Mode and probably should have
00:33:51 --> 00:33:54 never happened because to be honest with you
00:33:54 --> 00:33:59 Two tanks is the best as always. I'm sorry. It
00:33:59 --> 00:34:02 just is One tank is just awful. I don't play
00:34:02 --> 00:34:05 tanks. I used to play tanks in overwatch one
00:34:05 --> 00:34:07 because it was fun have another tank to peel
00:34:07 --> 00:34:14 for me still got blame but not as badly and just
00:34:14 --> 00:34:17 the tank synergy was just there was nothing like
00:34:17 --> 00:34:22 it but overwatch 2 yoink and it's not that good
00:34:22 --> 00:34:26 sorry guys oh you i just love just the gas lighting
00:34:26 --> 00:34:30 of the player base oh you just 66 because nostalgia
00:34:30 --> 00:34:36 no we like 66 because it worked and it proves
00:34:36 --> 00:34:41 our point. All right, so I have some unfortunate
00:34:41 --> 00:34:45 news for June awakening has been delayed to June
00:34:45 --> 00:34:49 10th, 2025 players who purchased the deluxe or
00:34:49 --> 00:34:51 ultimate edition will have early access starting
00:34:51 --> 00:34:55 June 5th. The delay is due to feedback from ongoing
00:34:55 --> 00:34:59 persistent closed beta allowing the development
00:34:59 --> 00:35:03 team more time to implement changes. Fun comp
00:35:03 --> 00:35:05 plans to host a large scale beta weekend next
00:35:05 --> 00:35:08 month for players for more players to participate
00:35:08 --> 00:35:12 and provide feedback. Combat live stream is scheduled.
00:35:13 --> 00:35:16 Actually, it was scheduled. And so if you want
00:35:16 --> 00:35:18 to check it out, I'm fine with us to be honest
00:35:18 --> 00:35:21 with you. If they make a decision, look at our
00:35:21 --> 00:35:24 game is a good, is pretty good state, but there's
00:35:24 --> 00:35:26 some issues with it and we need more time. I'm
00:35:26 --> 00:35:28 fine with that. because that just allows them
00:35:28 --> 00:35:30 more time to make the game better. And so if
00:35:30 --> 00:35:32 they make the game better and people like it,
00:35:32 --> 00:35:35 it'll be a successful game. If they did, if they
00:35:35 --> 00:35:38 pull an EA with battlefield 20, 42, Oh, it's
00:35:38 --> 00:35:41 in a great state. It's awesome. And then they
00:35:41 --> 00:35:44 launch it and everybody's what? This is not good.
00:35:46 --> 00:35:49 That's where you have the problems. All right.
00:35:49 --> 00:35:53 Moving on to King and come deliverance to has
00:35:53 --> 00:35:57 received a patch of one point. 2 .4 update the
00:35:57 --> 00:36:00 update introduces a new hardcode mode for players
00:36:00 --> 00:36:05 So kingdom deliverance the very More real the
00:36:05 --> 00:36:11 more realistic non fantasy medieval RPG is gonna
00:36:11 --> 00:36:17 get more realistic Hard mode includes the removal
00:36:17 --> 00:36:19 of fast travel so you can no longer fast travel
00:36:19 --> 00:36:22 could be interesting And requires players to
00:36:22 --> 00:36:24 select a negative perk before starting the game
00:36:25 --> 00:36:30 Oh, brutal. Negative perks includes sweaty. Henry
00:36:30 --> 00:36:34 smells worse when he doesn't shower. Might want
00:36:34 --> 00:36:37 to take that one bashful. Henry cannot ask villages
00:36:37 --> 00:36:43 for directions. And then some knob blew and Henry
00:36:43 --> 00:36:47 can wake up in a different location after resting.
00:36:48 --> 00:36:51 That would be funny. It's fall asleep in your
00:36:51 --> 00:36:55 house and you're in a different town. I'd be
00:36:55 --> 00:36:57 scared to go to sleep. I'd be like I don't want
00:36:57 --> 00:37:00 to go to sleep. No not gonna have to go to sleep
00:37:00 --> 00:37:04 because Even the regular mode. It's very realistic.
00:37:04 --> 00:37:07 If you don't go to sleep you actually start to
00:37:07 --> 00:37:10 fall asleep. I played the original one Yeah,
00:37:10 --> 00:37:13 if you don't sleep the game will make you sleep
00:37:13 --> 00:37:19 All right patch one point four point two Also
00:37:19 --> 00:37:22 provides various fixes and rebalances for standard
00:37:22 --> 00:37:25 gameplay such as rebounds prices of herbs a new
00:37:25 --> 00:37:28 hairstyle option for Henry and fix for save file
00:37:28 --> 00:37:33 issues specifically for Xbox players you want
00:37:33 --> 00:37:36 more power to them. I'm a little I was a little
00:37:36 --> 00:37:41 Rightfully critiquing the gay love scene between
00:37:41 --> 00:37:43 the two main characters Which previously in the
00:37:43 --> 00:37:46 original game had no indication of that so weird
00:37:46 --> 00:37:50 and then the introduced introduction of a random
00:37:50 --> 00:37:55 black dude So Well, I pick it up probably eventually
00:37:55 --> 00:37:59 with when it's on sale, but right now I'm good
00:37:59 --> 00:38:06 All right, so once you finally Unveiled more
00:38:06 --> 00:38:08 information on marathon. So this game is a distraction
00:38:08 --> 00:38:11 shooter because we don't have any of those I'm
00:38:11 --> 00:38:17 there's a dearth of extraction shooters Will
00:38:17 --> 00:38:20 be released on September 23rd for PC PlayStation
00:38:20 --> 00:38:23 five and Xbox series X marathon will support
00:38:23 --> 00:38:26 cross play and cross save on all platforms at
00:38:26 --> 00:38:30 launch. No, here's the funny part bungee confirmed
00:38:30 --> 00:38:33 that marathon will be a premium title, but not
00:38:33 --> 00:38:35 be full price. I don't even know what that means.
00:38:35 --> 00:38:37 That's marketing speak for what we don't know
00:38:37 --> 00:38:39 what we're going to charge right now. That's
00:38:39 --> 00:38:42 really what it means. Cause they don't know what
00:38:42 --> 00:38:43 they're going to charge. They're trying to figure
00:38:43 --> 00:38:46 it out. They're like, should we do $40? Should
00:38:46 --> 00:38:50 we do the regular one and $70? Should we do a
00:38:50 --> 00:38:51 hundred dollars? Because you know, that's going
00:38:51 --> 00:38:54 to eventually be coming looking at you grand
00:38:54 --> 00:38:57 theft auto six, which if it is a hundred dollars,
00:38:57 --> 00:39:00 I'm not playing. Plus I'm not really quite keen
00:39:00 --> 00:39:04 on what they're going to be doing. To be honest
00:39:04 --> 00:39:06 with you, I've grand theft auto games. I never
00:39:06 --> 00:39:08 finished. I like start. I'm like, yeah, this
00:39:08 --> 00:39:11 is great. And I'm like, I don't want to play
00:39:11 --> 00:39:16 this anymore. I don't know why. Anyways the game
00:39:16 --> 00:39:20 will feature three maps at launch With a fourth
00:39:20 --> 00:39:23 map coming shortly after a marathon will include
00:39:23 --> 00:39:26 a battle pass system Because man we are thinking
00:39:26 --> 00:39:29 as gamers we need more battle pass systems because
00:39:29 --> 00:39:33 those are so fun The specific price of the game
00:39:33 --> 00:39:36 will not be announced will be announced later
00:39:36 --> 00:39:40 in the summer Here's all the stuff we won't want
00:39:40 --> 00:39:43 we don't want you to know the price because we
00:39:43 --> 00:39:47 know it'll be a shocker players can loot items
00:39:47 --> 00:39:50 from the game world and other players but dying
00:39:50 --> 00:39:53 without extracting results in the loss of all
00:39:53 --> 00:39:55 your loot and basically the boys correction shooters
00:39:55 --> 00:39:59 are players can be revived during the match if
00:39:59 --> 00:40:02 a teammate is alive to interact with their death
00:40:02 --> 00:40:05 stash bungee is hosting close alpha for this
00:40:05 --> 00:40:08 game this month which requires joining the game
00:40:08 --> 00:40:11 official discord server to sign up don't care
00:40:11 --> 00:40:13 There may be public testing available before
00:40:13 --> 00:40:16 the game's official release. Here's a problem.
00:40:16 --> 00:40:18 The internet is not really in favor of this.
00:40:19 --> 00:40:23 They really have harkened it back to Concord,
00:40:24 --> 00:40:26 which is funny because the con the one of the
00:40:26 --> 00:40:28 developers of Concord's look at guys. I know
00:40:28 --> 00:40:30 our game sucked. Can you please stop talking
00:40:30 --> 00:40:32 about it? And this game is going to be cool.
00:40:32 --> 00:40:40 And everybody's no. So. I don't know. I looked
00:40:40 --> 00:40:42 at some of the screenshots and stuff and looked
00:40:42 --> 00:40:47 at some of the videos and it's all right. First
00:40:47 --> 00:40:50 of all, the original marathon games from Bungie
00:40:50 --> 00:40:53 was created for Mac on Mac is one of the few
00:40:53 --> 00:40:58 games on Mac and it was a single -player game
00:40:58 --> 00:41:01 because multiplayer was not big in the 90s because
00:41:01 --> 00:41:03 there really was no internet didn't really come
00:41:03 --> 00:41:06 to the masses until 96 but even then good luck
00:41:06 --> 00:41:09 trying to play with the air like the beginning
00:41:09 --> 00:41:14 of my intro is actually the Awful internet thing,
00:41:14 --> 00:41:16 but I thought it would be fun to actually do
00:41:16 --> 00:41:21 something like that. Anyways Bungie is not what
00:41:21 --> 00:41:24 Bungie was And I think a lot of games are starting
00:41:24 --> 00:41:26 to wake up to just because the developer has
00:41:26 --> 00:41:28 made great games of the past. If those people
00:41:28 --> 00:41:31 leave, the games are not going to be as good
00:41:31 --> 00:41:34 as we remember from the past. Bungie made great
00:41:34 --> 00:41:39 Halo games, Destiny, Destiny 2, even worse. And
00:41:39 --> 00:41:45 the quality has been going down because unfortunately
00:41:45 --> 00:41:48 Bungie shifted from making great games like a
00:41:48 --> 00:41:50 lot of developers have done and shifted towards
00:41:50 --> 00:41:55 gender ideology. politics, mostly leftism, and
00:41:55 --> 00:41:58 thinking that will help shore up game sales.
00:41:59 --> 00:42:01 It doesn't. It pisses us off most of the time,
00:42:01 --> 00:42:05 and you really should just stop. Make great games.
00:42:06 --> 00:42:08 It's all you got to do. If you have politics
00:42:08 --> 00:42:13 against what everybody wants, great. Don't share
00:42:13 --> 00:42:18 it on your business. You have people that are
00:42:18 --> 00:42:20 going to be people that are from the left. from
00:42:20 --> 00:42:22 the right and in the center, they're all going
00:42:22 --> 00:42:26 to work for you. Leave your politics out of it.
00:42:26 --> 00:42:29 Just make games. You're there to do business.
00:42:29 --> 00:42:32 And that means doing business with people you
00:42:32 --> 00:42:36 don't agree with unless you're in the opinion
00:42:36 --> 00:42:42 market and it's different. But this is just bad.
00:42:42 --> 00:42:46 I really don't want to see bungee fail, but be
00:42:46 --> 00:42:48 honest with you. They probably are unless they
00:42:48 --> 00:43:01 get their act together. All right. So here's
00:43:01 --> 00:43:06 the problem. They announced today about Medicare
00:43:06 --> 00:43:09 cuts from the United States, which is always
00:43:09 --> 00:43:12 happening. And one of the major things about
00:43:12 --> 00:43:17 it is they're proposing that the reason why it's
00:43:17 --> 00:43:22 expensive is because of single men that quote
00:43:22 --> 00:43:24 unquote play video games all day. Now, I don't
00:43:24 --> 00:43:26 condone playing video games all day. I think
00:43:26 --> 00:43:29 that's actually not good for you. I think that's
00:43:29 --> 00:43:31 very detrimental to you unless you're streaming
00:43:31 --> 00:43:35 and that's how you make it income. Then I'm okay
00:43:35 --> 00:43:38 with that, but I still think you need to go out
00:43:38 --> 00:43:46 and touch grass. But the epidemic of men not
00:43:46 --> 00:43:50 wanting to work is not because of video games.
00:43:51 --> 00:43:57 Video games are not the symptom of the overall
00:43:57 --> 00:44:01 larger issue of society hating men. Society does
00:44:01 --> 00:44:05 not like men. Society hates masculinity. Even
00:44:05 --> 00:44:10 though masculinity is good, feminism has decided
00:44:10 --> 00:44:14 that society needs to hate masculinity. The problem
00:44:14 --> 00:44:19 is women biologically need masculinity. So the
00:44:19 --> 00:44:24 conundrum comes to Let's blame men for all the
00:44:24 --> 00:44:28 issues of society, which is not working anymore
00:44:28 --> 00:44:29 because men are like, you know what? I'm done.
00:44:29 --> 00:44:33 I'm checking out. Second of all, the reason why
00:44:33 --> 00:44:36 men like video games is because one competition,
00:44:36 --> 00:44:41 because we are very competitive animals to hero
00:44:41 --> 00:44:45 fantasy. Because society told us that we don't
00:44:45 --> 00:44:47 want the damsels in distress. We don't want the
00:44:47 --> 00:44:50 knight in shining armor. That's done. That's
00:44:50 --> 00:44:52 over with equality raw until I decide that I
00:44:52 --> 00:44:56 want chivalry again. And so what men did is like,
00:44:56 --> 00:44:59 all right, fine. I will go and play video games
00:44:59 --> 00:45:02 because at least that allows me to do that until
00:45:02 --> 00:45:04 they decided to stop doing that. And now we're
00:45:04 --> 00:45:08 all screwed or we just become drug dealers and
00:45:08 --> 00:45:15 schedule one. So the issue is that society has
00:45:15 --> 00:45:19 not looked at men's problems and said, maybe
00:45:19 --> 00:45:23 we should look at this and fix this. They have
00:45:23 --> 00:45:27 decided instead to blame them. You cannot blame
00:45:27 --> 00:45:29 young men who don't understand how to be men.
00:45:30 --> 00:45:34 If they're never instilled how to work, why are
00:45:34 --> 00:45:40 you blaming them that they don't work? This isn't
00:45:40 --> 00:45:45 a cut and dry issue. Video games are not the
00:45:45 --> 00:45:51 problem. Society is the problem You have to look
00:45:51 --> 00:45:56 at society and go look at We have chased men
00:45:56 --> 00:45:59 out of Boy Scouts because Boy Scouts are not
00:45:59 --> 00:46:03 for men anymore or boys or whatever You've chased
00:46:03 --> 00:46:06 them out of the church, especially Protestantism
00:46:06 --> 00:46:13 because I Don't know why We have chase them out
00:46:13 --> 00:46:15 of every single thing and we've told women to
00:46:15 --> 00:46:19 be masculine. There is an unequal equation here.
00:46:19 --> 00:46:23 When you do this, men become more feminine because
00:46:23 --> 00:46:26 it needs to equal out. Will it be a good outcome?
00:46:27 --> 00:46:31 No, it will be a terrible outcome and we are
00:46:31 --> 00:46:34 seeing it right now in real time. And guess what?
00:46:35 --> 00:46:39 Schools are made for women, not men, not boys.
00:46:40 --> 00:46:44 This is why women do better. This is why women
00:46:44 --> 00:46:49 are going to college more often. You do not make
00:46:49 --> 00:46:52 strong men by telling them to stop being masculine.
00:46:53 --> 00:46:57 You make weak, effeminate men by telling them
00:46:57 --> 00:47:00 to stop being masculine, by not showing masculine
00:47:00 --> 00:47:04 things, by having TV shows that either have idiots,
00:47:04 --> 00:47:09 terrible fathers, or oops, oops, just terrible
00:47:09 --> 00:47:13 role models. We have no role models to look at
00:47:13 --> 00:47:19 to show us how to be men. The church used to
00:47:19 --> 00:47:24 do it and basically said, now we're good. So
00:47:24 --> 00:47:28 men don't go to church anymore. There are ways
00:47:28 --> 00:47:32 to figure out how to do it without blaming us
00:47:32 --> 00:47:37 all the time. You keep doing this. We check out
00:47:37 --> 00:47:42 and we are checked out. and you are feeling it.
00:47:42 --> 00:47:47 Men drive society, men protect society. You lose
00:47:47 --> 00:47:52 us, you lose society. Women build up societies
00:47:52 --> 00:47:54 by having babies, and we're not even doing that
00:47:54 --> 00:47:58 either. So there is a systematic wide issue with
00:47:58 --> 00:48:04 society. And instead of going, look it, we know
00:48:04 --> 00:48:09 men aren't really wanting to work. And playing
00:48:09 --> 00:48:14 video games is their escape from the trying not
00:48:14 --> 00:48:20 to curse from the crap we're doing to them. But
00:48:20 --> 00:48:23 we're going to blame them instead because that
00:48:23 --> 00:48:29 has worked. That has not worked. I remember one
00:48:29 --> 00:48:32 time when I graduated from college in 2011, I
00:48:32 --> 00:48:37 met with a college administrator. And he even
00:48:37 --> 00:48:40 said in 2011, look at we're having issues with
00:48:40 --> 00:48:43 guys going to college. And I told him, it's because
00:48:43 --> 00:48:47 you aren't catering to them and they still don't
00:48:47 --> 00:48:52 get it. If you want customers, you have to cater
00:48:52 --> 00:48:55 to customers needs. If you don't, they don't
00:48:55 --> 00:48:58 buy your stuff. I don't understand why marketing
00:48:58 --> 00:49:01 is so difficult when it comes to men. It's like
00:49:01 --> 00:49:03 all of a sudden it's, I don't know how, how do
00:49:03 --> 00:49:06 we do it? Even in gaming now, it's, oh, we have
00:49:06 --> 00:49:10 majority gamers that are customers. Let's not
00:49:10 --> 00:49:12 cater to them. I'm like, what are you doing?
00:49:13 --> 00:49:16 That's not how you get people to buy your game.
00:49:17 --> 00:49:22 Yes. Majority of gaming is men. Get used to it.
00:49:22 --> 00:49:30 Men like things. Get used to it. feminism is
00:49:30 --> 00:49:35 probably the single most dangerous modern I'm
00:49:35 --> 00:49:36 gonna call it a theology because it's really
00:49:36 --> 00:49:41 a cult I've ever seen in modern times it's right
00:49:41 --> 00:49:42 up there with communism because they're really
00:49:42 --> 00:49:45 insidious and they seem like a good idea until
00:49:45 --> 00:49:49 they're implemented from the 60s so we've had
00:49:49 --> 00:49:52 several decades of this and it it's gotten worse
00:49:52 --> 00:49:55 it hasn't gotten better it's like the Department
00:49:55 --> 00:49:59 of Education We're last and we spend the most
00:49:59 --> 00:50:02 money on kids for education always something
00:50:02 --> 00:50:06 wrong there But no the government instead goes
00:50:06 --> 00:50:10 video games bad guys get to work. I'm like that's
00:50:10 --> 00:50:15 not Not gonna work anymore You have an internet
00:50:15 --> 00:50:19 culture Right or wrong and largely right you
00:50:19 --> 00:50:21 can call the red pill or whatever, but they're
00:50:21 --> 00:50:24 largely right about what's going on You can hate
00:50:24 --> 00:50:27 what they're saying. I don't really care But
00:50:27 --> 00:50:29 they're largely right. And if you aren't paying
00:50:29 --> 00:50:32 attention to what they're saying, you are missing
00:50:32 --> 00:50:36 the point and you're not connecting to men. Telling
00:50:36 --> 00:50:38 them to get to work is not going to work anymore.
00:50:40 --> 00:50:45 You have to fix the issues. It's like blaming
00:50:45 --> 00:50:48 the gun for killing somebody. It's not the gun.
00:50:48 --> 00:50:51 The gun didn't do anything. It was the person
00:50:51 --> 00:50:56 behind the gun. The gun doesn't randomly shoot.
00:50:56 --> 00:50:59 have guns in the house. They don't randomly fire
00:50:59 --> 00:51:03 off every once in a while because the gun doesn't
00:51:03 --> 00:51:07 shoot itself. The game will, the games only be
00:51:07 --> 00:51:10 being played because men are frustrated and tired
00:51:10 --> 00:51:17 of society. I'm sick of seeing this. Like we
00:51:17 --> 00:51:21 have adults in politicians that still aren't
00:51:21 --> 00:51:27 grown up. I just blame guys for their video games.
00:51:27 --> 00:51:31 It's no, the video games are basically just the
00:51:31 --> 00:51:36 end point of what has been going on. You can't
00:51:36 --> 00:51:38 tell men, they're terrible. You can't tell us
00:51:38 --> 00:51:41 that we shouldn't speak up or we shouldn't speak
00:51:41 --> 00:51:43 up because it's man's playing. You can't say
00:51:43 --> 00:51:45 that silence is violence and then tell us why
00:51:45 --> 00:51:47 aren't you doing anything and expect us to do
00:51:47 --> 00:51:48 something. We're like, yeah, no, I'm good. I'm
00:51:48 --> 00:51:51 going to go in the woods, my Xbox. I'm just play
00:51:51 --> 00:51:55 games because I'm damned if I do damned if I
00:51:55 --> 00:52:03 don't It's just it's stupid All right moving
00:52:03 --> 00:52:06 on to even better things why you never listen
00:52:06 --> 00:52:11 to China So China has this new fangled cable
00:52:11 --> 00:52:16 called the GPM. I had so original It's a GPM.
00:52:16 --> 00:52:20 I type see its bandwidth is 96 gigabytes per
00:52:20 --> 00:52:25 second power delivery is 240 watts There's the
00:52:25 --> 00:52:29 type B2 which is 192 gigabytes per second and
00:52:29 --> 00:52:35 power delivery of 480 watts the upper forms HDMI
00:52:35 --> 00:52:40 2 .2 bandwidth and Thunderbolt 5 bandwidth the
00:52:40 --> 00:52:42 upper forms as well the key features is a two
00:52:42 --> 00:52:45 -way multi -stream data transfer bi -directional
00:52:45 --> 00:52:48 control unified connection for power delivery
00:52:48 --> 00:52:51 and data transmission usb ecosystem compatibility
00:52:51 --> 00:52:55 fast wake up and ultra fast transition enhanced
00:52:55 --> 00:52:59 security that's coming from china that's pretty
00:52:59 --> 00:53:11 funny so here's the thing we've seen this before
00:53:11 --> 00:53:13 china makes a claim that says that they have
00:53:13 --> 00:53:16 this amazing technology that beats the west all
00:53:16 --> 00:53:20 those dirty west people and then real life hits
00:53:20 --> 00:53:23 it, and it's not that good. It's happened time
00:53:23 --> 00:53:27 and time again, and yet the reporters still try
00:53:27 --> 00:53:31 to go, look at what China's doing. I'm like,
00:53:31 --> 00:53:34 yeah, they're lying to you, because that's what
00:53:34 --> 00:53:36 they do. And they reverse engineer everything,
00:53:36 --> 00:53:39 because they don't make or innovate anything.
00:53:40 --> 00:53:44 When's the last time you had actual true innovation
00:53:44 --> 00:53:46 in China? It hasn't happened, because it never
00:53:46 --> 00:53:49 happens. This is why I'm very skeptical about
00:53:49 --> 00:53:53 everything coming out. Look at this. It says
00:53:53 --> 00:53:58 it's great. It says it's wonderful. No, it is
00:53:58 --> 00:54:02 not. This happened with her AI model that said
00:54:02 --> 00:54:05 that they were very efficient and they only used
00:54:05 --> 00:54:09 millions of dollars. And in reality, they bought
00:54:09 --> 00:54:13 a bunch of Nvidia GPUs and spent billions of
00:54:13 --> 00:54:15 dollars trying to get this efficiency model,
00:54:15 --> 00:54:18 which basically made them Not very efficient
00:54:18 --> 00:54:23 and close to what chat GPT is doing. And they
00:54:23 --> 00:54:25 will continue to do it because we are global
00:54:25 --> 00:54:28 enough to think that China actually innovates
00:54:28 --> 00:54:32 anything. You talk to anybody that works or has
00:54:32 --> 00:54:34 business with China, they will tell you they
00:54:34 --> 00:54:41 will steal your stuff. They do not care. And
00:54:41 --> 00:54:44 I'm trying to wake you guys up to this. Stop
00:54:44 --> 00:54:46 believing everything comes out of China. They
00:54:46 --> 00:54:52 rarely work out. It's usually worse or it's usually
00:54:52 --> 00:55:01 stolen. Those are the two outcomes of this. This
00:55:01 --> 00:55:03 is probably going to be about half of what it
00:55:03 --> 00:55:06 actually is, or it's going to be very unreliable.
00:55:08 --> 00:55:11 I will wait for HDMI or DisplayPort to come out
00:55:11 --> 00:55:13 with their innovations, because there actually
00:55:13 --> 00:55:16 are innovations in that. And this has already
00:55:16 --> 00:55:20 been touted as USB -C to actually start to do
00:55:20 --> 00:55:24 data signals plus power stuff. It's already been
00:55:24 --> 00:55:27 in the works for a while. This is just like trying
00:55:27 --> 00:55:29 to go, and we did it, and it's like, yeah, let's
00:55:29 --> 00:55:33 wait for the actual people that do innovate.
00:55:34 --> 00:55:36 I'll wait for them to actually make their announcements.
00:55:37 --> 00:55:41 More power to each and do really great PR stunt
00:55:41 --> 00:55:48 that seems to think it works Which now comes
00:55:48 --> 00:55:50 about with the tariffs again because I have to
00:55:50 --> 00:55:52 keep on talking about the tariffs because things
00:55:52 --> 00:56:01 change all the time So Here's the thing yes,
00:56:01 --> 00:56:06 there was a temporary halt on tariffs for a lot
00:56:06 --> 00:56:13 of tech products. Yes, this is a temporary pause,
00:56:13 --> 00:56:17 meaning there will be tariffs on this. This is
00:56:17 --> 00:56:20 why I've said time and time again, if you guys
00:56:20 --> 00:56:24 are looking to upgrade anything and if you can
00:56:24 --> 00:56:26 find it, because I know GPU is really hard to
00:56:26 --> 00:56:31 find right now, buy it now. Because I'm telling
00:56:31 --> 00:56:33 you this is going to get worse before it gets
00:56:33 --> 00:56:39 better because China is trying to say, so Trump
00:56:39 --> 00:56:43 already enacted a 245 % tariff on some products.
00:56:43 --> 00:56:47 Do I see it going up more than likely, unless
00:56:47 --> 00:56:50 China starts to make a deal and take it seriously
00:56:50 --> 00:56:52 right now, they're not, they're hoping that he
00:56:52 --> 00:56:55 will balk and they're hoping that they can get
00:56:55 --> 00:56:59 back to what normally they get from us. The issue
00:56:59 --> 00:57:03 is all the smart people, all the people that
00:57:03 --> 00:57:05 have done work in China. and have done business
00:57:05 --> 00:57:10 with China, know what they do. It's not a carefully
00:57:10 --> 00:57:17 guarded secret. They steal our tech, manipulate
00:57:17 --> 00:57:21 the currency, and they flood our markets with
00:57:21 --> 00:57:28 cheap China crap. That's what they do. And so
00:57:28 --> 00:57:30 this is why I'm telling you now, if you can wait
00:57:30 --> 00:57:34 a few years, wait a few years. if you can't buy
00:57:34 --> 00:57:37 it now because it's going to hurt in the long
00:57:37 --> 00:57:42 run. I agree with the administration saying that
00:57:42 --> 00:57:45 we need to start building our critical infrastructures
00:57:45 --> 00:57:49 in this country. That means tech, it means pharmaceuticals,
00:57:49 --> 00:57:52 it means our weapons, it means everything that's
00:57:52 --> 00:57:55 critical to us that we need to procure. Because
00:57:55 --> 00:57:58 if we look at COVID -19 and the quote unquote
00:57:58 --> 00:58:04 pandemic that really wasn't a pandemic, China
00:58:04 --> 00:58:09 withholded a lot of stuff from us masks Pharmaceuticals
00:58:09 --> 00:58:14 like because they could that's not a good thing
00:58:14 --> 00:58:19 and tech especially Needs to be built here because
00:58:19 --> 00:58:25 they will steal it and we don't need them building
00:58:25 --> 00:58:30 our phones building our Communication systems
00:58:32 --> 00:58:35 Billy any tech that they could find a way to
00:58:35 --> 00:58:37 put a malware on there doesn't need to happen.
00:58:38 --> 00:58:41 It needs to be built here includes keyboards
00:58:41 --> 00:58:44 and mice even though those are low -level things
00:58:44 --> 00:58:46 Still one of the things that need to be built
00:58:46 --> 00:58:48 here because you have no idea what they can embed
00:58:48 --> 00:58:54 into that it's a lot of its reliant on tech Cars
00:58:54 --> 00:58:58 need to be built here tech inside the cars need
00:58:58 --> 00:59:03 to be built here is one of those fundamental
00:59:03 --> 00:59:06 things that you cannot give a country that has
00:59:06 --> 00:59:10 profit off of us. Look it, they were only number,
00:59:10 --> 00:59:12 they're only number two because of us. They're
00:59:12 --> 00:59:15 number two because, first of all, Nixon opened
00:59:15 --> 00:59:20 up trade to China. Clinton decided to bring China
00:59:20 --> 00:59:24 into the World Trade Organization. By the way,
00:59:26 --> 00:59:28 he was not a great president on economy. He literally
00:59:28 --> 00:59:32 did not know anything about economy. You don't
00:59:32 --> 00:59:35 send off your manufacturing. That's how you kill
00:59:35 --> 00:59:38 a country. And we're seeing the effects of it.
00:59:40 --> 00:59:44 So what do we do? I know there's that China meme
00:59:44 --> 00:59:47 going around about fat white people making clothes
00:59:47 --> 00:59:49 and stuff, but I mean, that's not the reality
00:59:49 --> 00:59:53 of it. That's them propaganding again. What will
00:59:53 --> 00:59:56 more than likely happen is that robots will be
00:59:56 --> 00:59:58 making the majority of our stuff. They'll have
00:59:58 --> 01:00:02 few people monitoring the robots, but robots
01:00:02 --> 01:00:05 or machines will be making the majority of stuff.
01:00:05 --> 01:00:07 The machines make the majority of our stuff anyways.
01:00:08 --> 01:00:12 Like repetitive tasks are really suited for machines,
01:00:13 --> 01:00:17 not humans. So this is where we're at right now.
01:00:19 --> 01:00:22 There are going to be tariffs on tech stuff.
01:00:23 --> 01:00:32 You can not get around that whatsoever. So I
01:00:32 --> 01:00:35 want to be very clear. Terrorists are coming
01:00:35 --> 01:00:37 unless China makes a deal. I don't see China.
01:00:37 --> 01:00:40 I know Trump said that they're talking to China,
01:00:40 --> 01:00:41 whatever that means, or they want to strike a
01:00:41 --> 01:00:43 deal or whatever that means. And they're probably
01:00:43 --> 01:00:46 doing behind closed doors because again, they
01:00:46 --> 01:00:48 have to save face. They're not going to do it
01:00:48 --> 01:00:50 in the open. They're not going to try to do any
01:00:50 --> 01:00:52 of that. They're going to do it behind closed
01:00:52 --> 01:00:56 doors. But for now, we have no idea because we're
01:00:56 --> 01:00:58 not in those meetings and they're not giving
01:00:58 --> 01:01:01 us the reasons for those meetings because of
01:01:01 --> 01:01:04 security reasons. They want to make sure that
01:01:04 --> 01:01:10 all countries are respected in that sense. So
01:01:10 --> 01:01:14 what do we do now is really batten down the hatches.
01:01:14 --> 01:01:17 There's not much else you can do. I guess you
01:01:17 --> 01:01:19 could file lawsuits against it, but ordinary
01:01:19 --> 01:01:23 American Americans or gamers, there's really
01:01:23 --> 01:01:27 not much you can do. Just buy it now and wait.
01:01:28 --> 01:01:30 This is probably the best option for them. But
01:01:30 --> 01:01:34 right now, it's very real that the tariffs could
01:01:34 --> 01:01:37 go pretty high, which will inflate the price
01:01:37 --> 01:01:41 of a lot of things. Nvidia and AMD already said
01:01:41 --> 01:01:44 that there are going to be costs they eat from
01:01:44 --> 01:01:50 this. It's very real. It's going to hurt. Nvidia
01:01:50 --> 01:01:53 is probably going to be moving a lot of their
01:01:53 --> 01:01:56 production into Arizona. With AMD doing that,
01:01:56 --> 01:02:00 it's just a very practical thing to do. Very
01:02:00 --> 01:02:04 smart thing to do. Will it add cost? In the short
01:02:04 --> 01:02:06 term, yeah. In the long run, eventually when
01:02:06 --> 01:02:09 things and processes get in place, it gets a
01:02:09 --> 01:02:12 lot more efficient, it might start to come down.
01:02:13 --> 01:02:16 We're going to see a rise again. What we all
01:02:16 --> 01:02:21 want to hear? No. Is it what we need to do? Yeah.
01:02:24 --> 01:02:31 There's no getting along with it. All right.
01:02:31 --> 01:02:34 That is the end of Digital Coffee Gamingville.
