00:00:01 --> 00:00:04 And welcome to a new episode of digital coffee
00:00:04 --> 00:00:07 gaming brew. And I'm your host Brett Deister.
00:00:07 --> 00:00:09 If you could please subscribe to this podcast
00:00:09 --> 00:00:12 on all your favorite podcasting apps. We have
00:00:12 --> 00:00:14 a five star review really does help with the
00:00:14 --> 00:00:15 rankings. Let me know how I'm doing, but this
00:00:15 --> 00:00:20 week we talking about Hogwarts legacy. Immortals
00:00:20 --> 00:00:24 of Avium. Apparently they remove something from
00:00:24 --> 00:00:27 that, which I don't know like anybody plays anymore.
00:00:27 --> 00:00:31 Also Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater and the
00:00:31 --> 00:00:35 updates on that one. Civilization 6 .7 is out
00:00:35 --> 00:00:38 and I'll tell you my reaction to it plus with
00:00:38 --> 00:00:43 what actually is going on. Paradox actually bought
00:00:43 --> 00:00:45 a game studio so it should be interesting to
00:00:45 --> 00:00:49 see what goes on with that one and Nvidia Geoforce
00:00:49 --> 00:00:54 RTX 5080, 5090. Oh they're already raising prices
00:00:54 --> 00:00:57 and it apparently was a paper launch. And also
00:00:57 --> 00:01:02 the AMD Ryzen 9800 X3D, what's going on with
00:01:02 --> 00:01:06 that? And also EA not learning his lessons from
00:01:06 --> 00:01:10 Dragon Age, the Veil Guard, and why they are
00:01:10 --> 00:01:12 completely useless about what's going on with
00:01:12 --> 00:01:18 their actual game. Battlefield actually was teased
00:01:18 --> 00:01:20 in a way announced, Battlefield Labs specifically,
00:01:20 --> 00:01:22 but we'll talk about a little bit about that.
00:01:23 --> 00:01:26 And then Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. actually
00:01:26 --> 00:01:29 came out telling my reactions and why I'm actually
00:01:29 --> 00:01:34 not playing it. And the talking about the USAID
00:01:34 --> 00:01:38 issue in gaming and why it actually matters because
00:01:38 --> 00:01:42 it seems like we've been lied to from every walk
00:01:42 --> 00:01:45 of life. And it looks like it's pretty bad. It's
00:01:45 --> 00:01:50 not going to lie. It's really bad. Anyways, let's
00:01:50 --> 00:02:08 get on with the show. Hmm. That's good. All right.
00:02:08 --> 00:02:11 So Hogwarts Legacy is reportedly getting a new
00:02:11 --> 00:02:15 content and a sequel. So it did very well when
00:02:15 --> 00:02:16 it actually, if it was first released, there
00:02:16 --> 00:02:19 was a lot of controversy, which was funny when
00:02:19 --> 00:02:21 there was controversy because they said it wasn't
00:02:21 --> 00:02:24 woke enough or whatever, but then they had a
00:02:24 --> 00:02:26 transgender character in it and then it actually
00:02:26 --> 00:02:28 was fun to play. And so it actually did really
00:02:28 --> 00:02:30 well because the controversy kind of made it
00:02:30 --> 00:02:32 do well because everybody was like, there's nothing
00:02:32 --> 00:02:35 wrong with this game. Now, Avalanche Studios
00:02:35 --> 00:02:39 is going to be making new content and a new game
00:02:39 --> 00:02:42 for this one because it actually did so well.
00:02:42 --> 00:02:45 It's actually a fun game for the most part. I'm
00:02:45 --> 00:02:47 not really excited about the transgender person.
00:02:47 --> 00:02:49 I think next one, they should just leave it out
00:02:49 --> 00:02:52 because we're just tired of it. So if they don't,
00:02:52 --> 00:02:56 it probably won't sell well. But it seems like
00:02:56 --> 00:02:59 the game has been stuck in this like Halloween
00:02:59 --> 00:03:02 forever and they just didn't really remove any
00:03:02 --> 00:03:06 of the stuff. It's funny, but all in all, it's
00:03:06 --> 00:03:09 a good game all for getting more content in a
00:03:09 --> 00:03:12 new game because it was just a really fun game.
00:03:12 --> 00:03:14 If you love Hogwarts, if you love Harry Potter
00:03:14 --> 00:03:17 on those books, it was a fun game to actually
00:03:17 --> 00:03:24 be a wizard in. Moving on to Immortals of Aviam,
00:03:25 --> 00:03:26 the game that was supposed to be like the Call
00:03:26 --> 00:03:29 of Duty of Magic that didn't really quite hit
00:03:29 --> 00:03:32 its stride and There were a lot of pacing issues
00:03:32 --> 00:03:34 with it, which didn't really make much sense.
00:03:34 --> 00:03:36 It slowed you down, but made you want to switch,
00:03:36 --> 00:03:40 but there were issues. It was a, it was fine,
00:03:40 --> 00:03:44 but not great. It was one of those games where.
00:03:44 --> 00:03:47 And it needed more time in development. It actually
00:03:47 --> 00:03:49 just needed more time in ideation phase and figuring
00:03:49 --> 00:03:51 out what was in development phase to figure out
00:03:51 --> 00:03:53 what was actually going out. But I think they
00:03:53 --> 00:03:56 ran out of time and money, so they just released
00:03:56 --> 00:03:59 it as it was, but they're really, they are removing
00:03:59 --> 00:04:03 the Nuvo. Which every gamer hates because it
00:04:03 --> 00:04:05 does slow down games, even though Dinovo's no,
00:04:05 --> 00:04:07 it doesn't. And every gamer is like, yeah, it
00:04:07 --> 00:04:11 does. And they're finally removing it after a
00:04:11 --> 00:04:14 few years of being released. They're finally
00:04:14 --> 00:04:19 removing it. All right. Moving on to Metal Gear
00:04:19 --> 00:04:23 Solid Delta Snake Eater, the remake of the original
00:04:23 --> 00:04:28 Modern Metal Gear Solid 3. Basically what it
00:04:28 --> 00:04:33 was. It is finally coming out this year in August.
00:04:33 --> 00:04:37 So you have time to wait, but we're finally going
00:04:37 --> 00:04:42 to get this actual remake. It's going to be on
00:04:42 --> 00:04:46 PC obviously because no gaming development is
00:04:46 --> 00:04:51 going to actually do that, but we'll see. We'll
00:04:51 --> 00:05:00 see how it is. Hey, moving on to Civilization
00:05:00 --> 00:05:04 7. So I actually did get this one. I love Civilization.
00:05:05 --> 00:05:07 I just love, and plus you can play it on Steam
00:05:07 --> 00:05:09 Deck, which is a huge bonus because I just love.
00:05:10 --> 00:05:13 I'm not on my PC. Just use my Steam Deck instead.
00:05:13 --> 00:05:16 I'm enjoying it, but a lot of gamers aren't enjoying
00:05:16 --> 00:05:18 it because of issues. And there are some issues
00:05:18 --> 00:05:20 that I've had with it, but it's nothing like
00:05:20 --> 00:05:23 game breaking for me. It runs really well. I
00:05:23 --> 00:05:26 played it for several hours on my Steam Deck.
00:05:27 --> 00:05:32 It has never crashed so far. So I'm happy with
00:05:32 --> 00:05:34 it, but there are some things that needs to be
00:05:34 --> 00:05:37 cleaned up. There needs to be more met variety.
00:05:37 --> 00:05:40 There needs to be more cooperation within it.
00:05:40 --> 00:05:41 It probably needs a little bit of a touch up
00:05:41 --> 00:05:44 as well. There are things that they need to actually
00:05:44 --> 00:05:47 work on, but from all in all, on like a gaming
00:05:47 --> 00:05:50 optimization standpoint, it's actually really
00:05:50 --> 00:05:52 good. I don't mind getting rid of the builders.
00:05:53 --> 00:05:55 I think that needed to go eventually. I do like
00:05:55 --> 00:05:58 the way they're going with this. I don't mind
00:05:58 --> 00:06:02 the ageist thing. I do think that leaders should
00:06:02 --> 00:06:04 change with age. I think just having one consistent
00:06:04 --> 00:06:08 leader, but your age changes is a little weird.
00:06:08 --> 00:06:13 There's some issues, but from like the hyperbole
00:06:13 --> 00:06:15 of everybody hating on it, it's not that bad.
00:06:16 --> 00:06:19 Is it an unfinished game? I don't know. I played
00:06:19 --> 00:06:21 a little bit of it and I don't feel like it's
00:06:21 --> 00:06:24 unfinished. I feel like I've gotten like a robust
00:06:24 --> 00:06:26 game, but I guess I'm not that harsh as they
00:06:26 --> 00:06:30 are on it. It's a 4K strategy or a 4X strategy
00:06:30 --> 00:06:36 game. So you can replay it several times to your
00:06:36 --> 00:06:38 heart's content. I feel like a lot of like RPGs
00:06:38 --> 00:06:40 and stuff, you can replay them, but you want
00:06:40 --> 00:06:43 to take time to go away from them and come back
00:06:43 --> 00:06:46 to them. Cause once you beat the story you're
00:06:46 --> 00:06:48 gonna beat the same story all over again with
00:06:48 --> 00:06:50 strategy games you just you get there's a replayability
00:06:50 --> 00:06:53 in these games i'm not having issues but i guess
00:06:53 --> 00:06:57 a lot of people are so we'll see when all this
00:06:57 --> 00:07:01 comes about paradox is buying the owner of jagged
00:07:01 --> 00:07:06 alliance 3 and surviving mars developer imont
00:07:06 --> 00:07:11 games so yeah So it looks like they're just going
00:07:11 --> 00:07:13 to be acquiring them, which actually makes really
00:07:13 --> 00:07:15 good sense with paradox because paradox is mainly
00:07:15 --> 00:07:21 known for its strategy type games and this company,
00:07:21 --> 00:07:25 which I did do tra I think we did tropical as
00:07:25 --> 00:07:31 well actually makes a lot more sense because
00:07:31 --> 00:07:35 of Just the way each one's synergized together
00:07:35 --> 00:07:39 plus with paradox actually not really I don't
00:07:39 --> 00:07:40 think they're ever going to be releasing the
00:07:40 --> 00:07:44 bloodlines too, and just city skylines too. Not
00:07:44 --> 00:07:47 doing very well. First one, original one was
00:07:47 --> 00:07:49 great, but the second one had a lot of issues.
00:07:49 --> 00:07:52 It looks like they needed more time to actually
00:07:52 --> 00:07:55 work with it, but they actually didn't do that,
00:07:55 --> 00:08:02 which is very weird. Very weird. But we'll see
00:08:02 --> 00:08:04 how this all ends out. I hope. This actually
00:08:04 --> 00:08:07 is a good thing. I hope that they actually continue
00:08:07 --> 00:08:08 to make great games. Jack of the lions three
00:08:08 --> 00:08:11 is a fun game. It's fun because it's like a funny
00:08:11 --> 00:08:16 type of game in its own right. And it's in the
00:08:16 --> 00:08:21 vein of commandos and those types of genre of
00:08:21 --> 00:08:23 games aren't really made as much anymore, but
00:08:23 --> 00:08:25 probably should be made a little bit more. I
00:08:25 --> 00:08:29 really hope that this RTS and type of strategy
00:08:29 --> 00:08:32 type games resurgent really does hit its stride
00:08:32 --> 00:08:37 because We've been on the first person shooter
00:08:37 --> 00:08:40 dominance for a little too long, in my opinion.
00:08:40 --> 00:08:45 All right, moving on to the Nvidia GeForce RTX
00:08:45 --> 00:08:49 5090 and 5080. Apparently prices are going to
00:08:49 --> 00:08:53 go up again because of the tariffs on China and
00:08:53 --> 00:08:56 we're going to be paying more for it unless they
00:08:56 --> 00:08:58 actually start building it here, which there
00:08:58 --> 00:09:02 are a few foundries, I think. TSMC actually does
00:09:02 --> 00:09:04 have Foundry in Arizona and the United States.
00:09:05 --> 00:09:11 So we should see more price hikes on that, which
00:09:11 --> 00:09:14 I'm just saying, just stick with the Founders
00:09:14 --> 00:09:17 edition, which it looks like from the 5080 purpose,
00:09:17 --> 00:09:20 there is a lot of headroom to actually overclock
00:09:20 --> 00:09:23 it to make it actually faster than what the base
00:09:23 --> 00:09:25 clock is, which is weird that Nvidia would leave
00:09:25 --> 00:09:29 so much headroom for that, but I guess they're
00:09:29 --> 00:09:31 trying to be conservative about it. I don't know.
00:09:31 --> 00:09:33 It just seems like this launch has been weird.
00:09:34 --> 00:09:36 It was a paper launch because there is no cards
00:09:36 --> 00:09:39 you can get, which is funny because I was looking
00:09:39 --> 00:09:43 at new monitors online and Micro Center and a
00:09:43 --> 00:09:44 lot of their bundles were like for monitors was
00:09:44 --> 00:09:48 like via 1580 or 1590 and get a hundred dollars
00:09:48 --> 00:09:50 off. I'm like, but you can't find any of them.
00:09:50 --> 00:09:52 So how are you going to get the deal? If you
00:09:52 --> 00:09:54 can't actually find the product, a little weird
00:09:54 --> 00:09:56 Micro Center, just a little weird. Probably should
00:09:56 --> 00:09:59 have pulled that back until stocks came back,
00:10:00 --> 00:10:04 but you're just going to be paying more from
00:10:04 --> 00:10:06 third party ones. They're also a lot thicker
00:10:06 --> 00:10:08 than the founders edition, which I rather take
00:10:08 --> 00:10:10 the founders edition because it's only two slots,
00:10:11 --> 00:10:15 especially for the 50 80 and the 50 90. Plus
00:10:15 --> 00:10:22 you. You can overclock it. It looks like there
00:10:22 --> 00:10:24 is a lot of headroom, at least for the 50 80,
00:10:24 --> 00:10:27 I think the 50 90 as well. to actually overclock
00:10:27 --> 00:10:28 them on the founders edition. So I would just
00:10:28 --> 00:10:31 look at that instead and just overclock it. And
00:10:31 --> 00:10:34 you may actually finally beat out the 4090 if
00:10:34 --> 00:10:38 you overclock it now base. No, you can't 4090
00:10:38 --> 00:10:42 beats it out all the time, but. That may be what's
00:10:42 --> 00:10:44 actually holding you back is the base clocks.
00:10:46 --> 00:10:50 All right, moving on to the AMD Ryzen 90 hundred
00:10:50 --> 00:10:54 X3D. Stock demand is so high that they're ramping
00:10:54 --> 00:10:57 up production. Yes, it is a very good CPU to
00:10:57 --> 00:11:00 actually get. It does a really good job at being
00:11:00 --> 00:11:03 efficient for gaming. And to be honest with you,
00:11:03 --> 00:11:05 I don't understand why I just aimed. He just
00:11:05 --> 00:11:08 doesn't do the rise in X3D as the line to do,
00:11:08 --> 00:11:10 because it seems like every time they release
00:11:10 --> 00:11:13 the base one and then do the X3D is always better
00:11:13 --> 00:11:18 than the original one, but we'll see how this
00:11:18 --> 00:11:24 goes. It seems interesting. And the new ones
00:11:24 --> 00:11:28 are supposed to eventually come out March. I
00:11:28 --> 00:11:31 know we finally got actual confirmation that
00:11:31 --> 00:11:35 the new AMD GPUs are coming out in March, early
00:11:35 --> 00:11:40 March. The 9 series or 9070 is the only
00:11:40 --> 00:11:42 ones that we know about. So it should be interesting
00:11:42 --> 00:11:46 to see how well these do against the 5070 series
00:11:46 --> 00:11:48 that's supposed to come out in March as well.
00:11:48 --> 00:11:53 the 5070, 5070 Ti I think. So should be interesting
00:11:53 --> 00:11:55 to see how well they do with that, how they stack
00:11:55 --> 00:11:58 up against the 5080, if they can actually beat
00:11:58 --> 00:12:00 the 5080. I know they're not going to touch the
00:12:00 --> 00:12:02 5090, which everybody's been saying, huge mistake
00:12:02 --> 00:12:04 for you guys to get out the high -end market
00:12:04 --> 00:12:06 because you probably might've been able to dominate
00:12:06 --> 00:12:09 that this time around, but we'll see. We'll see
00:12:09 --> 00:12:12 what the updates with FSR4 is, if it will do
00:12:12 --> 00:12:16 better with ray tracing, even though I'm still
00:12:16 --> 00:12:18 not convinced that ray tracing is all that It's
00:12:18 --> 00:12:20 cracked out to be, I think we just been forced
00:12:20 --> 00:12:23 upon a good ray tracing, path tracing, all this
00:12:23 --> 00:12:27 tracing. Apparently we're all artists now. Anyways,
00:12:27 --> 00:12:32 moving on to EA and Dragon Age. It looks like
00:12:32 --> 00:12:35 from their earnings call, they just have not
00:12:35 --> 00:12:38 learned their lesson yet. They're basically blaming
00:12:38 --> 00:12:42 Dragon Age on not a failure or not having a quote
00:12:42 --> 00:12:45 unquote shared world. It's no. The reason why
00:12:45 --> 00:12:50 it failed is because it had a cringe -worthy
00:12:50 --> 00:12:55 tirade on how to properly pronounce or properly
00:12:55 --> 00:12:59 use someone's pronouns. No one wanted to do that.
00:12:59 --> 00:13:03 No one wanted to pull the brava scene. And everybody
00:13:03 --> 00:13:06 was like, this is stupid. I shouldn't be lectured
00:13:06 --> 00:13:09 to about this stuff. First of all, pronouns don't
00:13:09 --> 00:13:12 exist. It's all in your head and you are stupid
00:13:12 --> 00:13:16 if you have some. Second of all, no one cares,
00:13:16 --> 00:13:20 which I will actually be talking about the dumb
00:13:20 --> 00:13:23 signup form for battlefield labs and EA, you
00:13:23 --> 00:13:26 need to drop all this stuff. No one likes it.
00:13:26 --> 00:13:28 No one cares about it. It's annoying. And we
00:13:28 --> 00:13:32 all hate it. Listen to gamers. The reason why
00:13:32 --> 00:13:35 we didn't buy this is because we didn't like
00:13:35 --> 00:13:38 the top surgery scars from the character creator.
00:13:38 --> 00:13:41 Cause it made no sense. We didn't like the pronouns
00:13:41 --> 00:13:44 made no sense. And you all need to drop them.
00:13:44 --> 00:13:47 We all know that you took money from USAID. So
00:13:47 --> 00:13:51 let's please move on from this. Drop it all.
00:13:51 --> 00:13:53 It doesn't work. Get back to making games. Get
00:13:53 --> 00:13:58 back to actually creating games for men because
00:13:58 --> 00:14:05 men will mostly buy this stuff. He also announced
00:14:05 --> 00:14:10 EA CEO also announced Apex 2 .0 since it won't
00:14:10 --> 00:14:13 happen until next battlefield. But this will
00:14:13 --> 00:14:16 not be the final incarnation of Apex. So we're
00:14:16 --> 00:14:19 going to get a 2 .0 version of it. Hopefully
00:14:19 --> 00:14:21 it does better than what it is right now. No
00:14:21 --> 00:14:24 one's really playing Apex anymore. Just too many
00:14:24 --> 00:14:26 different weird things they've been doing with
00:14:26 --> 00:14:29 it. I stopped playing with it a while ago is
00:14:29 --> 00:14:33 when they only had one map. And I, after a while
00:14:33 --> 00:14:36 I was like, eh, I don't know. I just, is Battle
00:14:36 --> 00:14:38 Royale, me and Battle Royale games just don't
00:14:38 --> 00:14:42 mix. I just don't like them that much. They're
00:14:42 --> 00:14:45 fine. You love them by all means. I just don't
00:14:45 --> 00:14:49 prefer them. I prefer just like battlefield or
00:14:49 --> 00:14:54 Delta Force or hero shooters or Old -school shooters.
00:14:54 --> 00:14:57 Those are fine. I just I play them then I stop
00:14:57 --> 00:15:00 playing them It's just like when you die, you
00:15:00 --> 00:15:03 have to go and get into a new match and just
00:15:03 --> 00:15:09 I just don't want to do that Alright finally
00:15:09 --> 00:15:13 announced battlefield Battlefield six or whatever
00:15:13 --> 00:15:15 they're going to call it. They announced a whole
00:15:15 --> 00:15:19 slew of things. Luckily portal 2 .0 is coming
00:15:19 --> 00:15:22 or portals coming back as 2 .0. Hopefully this
00:15:22 --> 00:15:24 time around they utilize it a lot better than
00:15:24 --> 00:15:28 they did with 2042. It was the, and I said this
00:15:28 --> 00:15:31 when it was having its issues. I like, I said
00:15:31 --> 00:15:35 focus on portal. It's you're saving grace right
00:15:35 --> 00:15:37 now. Nothing else works really well. No one's
00:15:37 --> 00:15:40 having fun with the regular stuff. Focus in on
00:15:40 --> 00:15:43 portal because portal is the thing you need to
00:15:43 --> 00:15:45 focus on and they didn't do it They focus on
00:15:45 --> 00:15:48 fixing the game and then they left which is always
00:15:48 --> 00:15:51 EA style. I don't understand You don't understand
00:15:51 --> 00:15:54 live service games, but you Winch and complain
00:15:54 --> 00:15:56 that games don't work because they don't have
00:15:56 --> 00:15:58 live service while you don't understand live
00:15:58 --> 00:16:02 services You have one live service game. It's
00:16:02 --> 00:16:05 apex legends and that's it Sims. I wouldn't consider
00:16:05 --> 00:16:08 a live service game at all. It's just been updated
00:16:08 --> 00:16:13 because Why make a new one? And Battlefield 2042
00:16:13 --> 00:16:16 wasn't a live service game at all. It was, oh
00:16:16 --> 00:16:19 right, we messed up and we need to fix it. All
00:16:19 --> 00:16:22 right, we're moving on. It's like, you could
00:16:22 --> 00:16:25 have kept on doing things with it and it may
00:16:25 --> 00:16:28 have a longer development cycle. I know that
00:16:28 --> 00:16:34 specialists were not loved. And fair enough,
00:16:34 --> 00:16:39 but here's my problem. If you're going to be
00:16:39 --> 00:16:44 doing the next battlefield game, expect low pre
00:16:44 --> 00:16:46 -orders because we're all very skeptical about
00:16:46 --> 00:16:53 what you're going to do. Then the other thing
00:16:53 --> 00:16:57 is make sure there's destruction in this game
00:16:57 --> 00:16:59 because a lot of the other games are now doing
00:16:59 --> 00:17:01 destruction. Make sure this is worthwhile destruction
00:17:01 --> 00:17:06 and actually is good. Make sure you just have
00:17:06 --> 00:17:08 a class system. No more specialists. We're done
00:17:08 --> 00:17:15 with that. It just didn't work. If you'd want
00:17:15 --> 00:17:17 to do 128 players, which I don't think you're
00:17:17 --> 00:17:21 going to be doing, make the maps work for 128
00:17:21 --> 00:17:25 players can work. You just didn't do the right
00:17:25 --> 00:17:29 maps. The maps did not work. That was the issue
00:17:29 --> 00:17:34 with it. And only 128 players can only work in
00:17:34 --> 00:17:39 conquest. Or Titan mode. I think that actually
00:17:39 --> 00:17:42 could work, but it cannot work in rush. It cannot
00:17:42 --> 00:17:46 work in. I forget the other one, but the one's
00:17:46 --> 00:17:48 similar to rush. It cannot work in those modes.
00:17:48 --> 00:17:50 Those modes need to be small. 64 is actually
00:17:50 --> 00:17:53 a good spot. 128 players only works for all out
00:17:53 --> 00:17:57 warfare, but you need to like press into the
00:17:57 --> 00:18:00 multiple objectives and maybe make it more interesting.
00:18:00 --> 00:18:03 Like this needs to be the next evolution. And
00:18:03 --> 00:18:06 it's been stuck in this weird. We're going to
00:18:06 --> 00:18:09 follow it. We're going to. chase trends. And
00:18:09 --> 00:18:12 it needs to stop. Stop chasing trends. Do an
00:18:12 --> 00:18:15 extraction shooter. I think it can work if you
00:18:15 --> 00:18:19 guys actually make it work. It didn't work because
00:18:19 --> 00:18:23 on 2042, because it just wasn't good. You didn't
00:18:23 --> 00:18:27 have enough time to make it work. Battle Royale's
00:18:27 --> 00:18:29 fine. Like I said, I just don't like them. So
00:18:29 --> 00:18:32 I probably will never play it. Or I'll play a
00:18:32 --> 00:18:36 few times. But this needs to be hit out the park.
00:18:37 --> 00:18:38 I know you had battlefield labs I know you're
00:18:38 --> 00:18:40 gonna be started testing it and this is gonna
00:18:40 --> 00:18:42 be like a testing phase and figuring out what
00:18:42 --> 00:18:44 it works and what it doesn't But please for the
00:18:44 --> 00:18:46 love of God if you're going to be doing sign
00:18:46 --> 00:18:50 up stop with the pronouns I Already gave you
00:18:50 --> 00:18:52 my quirky pronoun, which was like this isn't
00:18:52 --> 00:18:55 real stop this crap I want to use more colorful
00:18:55 --> 00:18:57 language, but that's basically what I said because
00:18:57 --> 00:19:01 I was like look it I don't care your sex male
00:19:01 --> 00:19:05 female pronouns That should have been eliminated
00:19:05 --> 00:19:08 because it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter.
00:19:09 --> 00:19:13 Nobody is anything else but male or female. The
00:19:13 --> 00:19:19 crazy ones, I'm sorry, but this is reality. Can
00:19:19 --> 00:19:22 we all stop this? Please for the love of God.
00:19:23 --> 00:19:25 I just want to play games without all this stupid
00:19:25 --> 00:19:29 political stuff in there. All right. Company
00:19:29 --> 00:19:31 heroes three, the game that we're all happy when
00:19:31 --> 00:19:33 it came out, but then when it came out, we were
00:19:33 --> 00:19:37 like, very good. They're coming out with a new
00:19:37 --> 00:19:42 DLC later this month and it's called fire and
00:19:42 --> 00:19:45 steel. It's going to be specifically more about
00:19:45 --> 00:19:48 tanks, which is fine. It's going to be priced
00:19:48 --> 00:19:52 at $25. So this better be a really good DLC or
00:19:52 --> 00:19:56 people are not going to buy it. Just saying.
00:19:59 --> 00:20:03 Now coming to Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 I was
00:20:03 --> 00:20:05 excited when this was coming out and then too
00:20:05 --> 00:20:07 much controversy and too much weirdness About
00:20:07 --> 00:20:10 this game now. I know everybody's so amazing.
00:20:10 --> 00:20:13 It's so great First of all, I don't understand
00:20:13 --> 00:20:16 why you can romance Hans as your main character
00:20:16 --> 00:20:19 when the original game you guys were friends
00:20:19 --> 00:20:23 and y 'all liked Girls and there was actually
00:20:23 --> 00:20:27 one quest where you helped out your bro Basically
00:20:27 --> 00:20:36 being a girl Best way of saying it. So now, why?
00:20:36 --> 00:20:39 Like, why is it that guys can't just be best
00:20:39 --> 00:20:40 friends without the, oh, I guess you're gay.
00:20:41 --> 00:20:44 Like that was weird. And then the black guy in
00:20:44 --> 00:20:47 there when his, the main guy of Warhorse Studios
00:20:47 --> 00:20:50 basically said that Henry was a straight white
00:20:50 --> 00:20:52 Christian male, which apparently now he is not.
00:20:53 --> 00:20:55 And there was no black people in there, but now
00:20:55 --> 00:20:58 we're like, yeah, there's a black person. Like
00:20:58 --> 00:21:01 it was like a weird like turn around where I
00:21:01 --> 00:21:04 was like, yeah, I don't really like this and
00:21:04 --> 00:21:09 now you can romance Hans. Come on guys. Seriously.
00:21:11 --> 00:21:15 I'm glad that you made $1 million. I'm glad you
00:21:15 --> 00:21:18 chastise the industry for whatever reason, but
00:21:18 --> 00:21:21 you're no better. You tried to hide it. You tried
00:21:21 --> 00:21:25 to, it's not that bad. It's skippable. It's an
00:21:25 --> 00:21:28 interesting story thing. I'm like, look, if you
00:21:28 --> 00:21:31 want interesting story pieces, how about he still
00:21:31 --> 00:21:36 continues to be a straight white Christian male.
00:21:37 --> 00:21:39 And you deal with repercussions of maybe some
00:21:39 --> 00:21:41 of your friends or your companions being gay
00:21:41 --> 00:21:44 and you deal with that. But don't already establish
00:21:44 --> 00:21:48 your character from the first game. as not being
00:21:48 --> 00:21:51 gay and then all of a sudden go, yeah, he's gay
00:21:51 --> 00:21:56 now. It makes no sense. It makes no logical sense
00:21:56 --> 00:21:59 on this one whatsoever. And don't give me the,
00:21:59 --> 00:22:01 it's an interesting story thing. No, it's not.
00:22:02 --> 00:22:05 It's a hype, it's hypocritical. Like people,
00:22:05 --> 00:22:07 that's what people are calling you out for. It's
00:22:07 --> 00:22:10 like, you're being hypocritical about this. And
00:22:10 --> 00:22:11 I'm glad that people, a lot of people didn't
00:22:11 --> 00:22:14 care and they bought it, but I only buy it on
00:22:14 --> 00:22:17 sale because I'm, that's stupid. Like you should
00:22:17 --> 00:22:22 have known better. Stop with this. I know you're
00:22:22 --> 00:22:24 owned by Embracer Group and I'm pretty sure they
00:22:24 --> 00:22:27 were the ones behind this telling you what to
00:22:27 --> 00:22:30 do. But seriously, that was the dumbest thing
00:22:30 --> 00:22:33 I've ever seen. Cause I canceled my pre -orders.
00:22:33 --> 00:22:36 I was like, I, you know what? I don't really
00:22:36 --> 00:22:39 care for this. It's an RPG. I love, I love the
00:22:39 --> 00:22:42 first game. The game was great. But this is an
00:22:42 --> 00:22:45 RPG. I don't understand why you're changing around
00:22:45 --> 00:22:48 characters, sexual identity or whatever, sexual
00:22:48 --> 00:22:51 orientation, whatever it's called. I don't get
00:22:51 --> 00:22:56 it. I don't understand it. I do not like it.
00:22:57 --> 00:23:03 So please stop. But you just want to do this
00:23:03 --> 00:23:07 for clout or whatever reason. I guess you hate
00:23:07 --> 00:23:12 that the media was against you. It's dumb. Anyways,
00:23:12 --> 00:23:15 moving on to USAID. So this is an interesting
00:23:15 --> 00:23:18 thing because once Trump got into office and
00:23:18 --> 00:23:21 then once Elon Musk kind of got into like how
00:23:21 --> 00:23:26 much money our government was wasting, then it's
00:23:26 --> 00:23:28 quite a bit. It's quite bad. It's really, this
00:23:28 --> 00:23:30 is like one of the worst scandals in American
00:23:30 --> 00:23:34 history right now. And it looks like EDI also
00:23:34 --> 00:23:39 hit gaming pretty much too. Like to the point
00:23:39 --> 00:23:42 where. Feminist Frequency from Anita Sarkeesian
00:23:42 --> 00:23:49 took money from the US government to basically
00:23:49 --> 00:23:52 tell gaming companies that you shouldn't be making
00:23:52 --> 00:23:56 a game secure to males because sexism. She was
00:23:56 --> 00:23:58 a grifter before, and we all found out that she
00:23:58 --> 00:24:01 was a pretty bad grifter, but it's bad when you're
00:24:01 --> 00:24:04 taking money from the government to tell American
00:24:04 --> 00:24:09 males that they're terrible. That's just dumb.
00:24:10 --> 00:24:13 Plus you pay, they paid political and all of
00:24:13 --> 00:24:18 them to basically have negative stories about
00:24:18 --> 00:24:23 gamer gays. So this was all not actually like
00:24:23 --> 00:24:28 reporters weren't just dumb. They were paid off
00:24:28 --> 00:24:35 to do this. And even sweet baby ink looks like
00:24:35 --> 00:24:40 it was through another. company was used the
00:24:40 --> 00:24:44 money from USAID to tell gaming companies to
00:24:44 --> 00:24:47 make their games woke. And then the woke games
00:24:47 --> 00:24:51 failed miserably. And that's where we're at right
00:24:51 --> 00:24:59 now. I don't under stand why you would do this.
00:25:02 --> 00:25:05 But apparently, and I'm pretty sure a lot of
00:25:05 --> 00:25:08 these games took money. to do this, a lot of
00:25:08 --> 00:25:10 these game companies took money to do this stuff.
00:25:10 --> 00:25:19 It is not good. I'm pretty sure Kotaku and all
00:25:19 --> 00:25:23 of them are, are just as culpable of taking money.
00:25:23 --> 00:25:26 Just like AP took money, political took money,
00:25:26 --> 00:25:28 BBC took money, which I don't understand why
00:25:28 --> 00:25:32 we were funding the BBC, but All of those companies
00:25:32 --> 00:25:35 that somehow were against normal Americans saying,
00:25:35 --> 00:25:37 Hey, look, there's something not right about
00:25:37 --> 00:25:39 this. They're like, don't believe your lying
00:25:39 --> 00:25:42 eyes. Cause we're paid to tell you to lie to
00:25:42 --> 00:25:44 you. We're not going to tell you the truth. We're
00:25:44 --> 00:25:46 going to lie to you because we're paid to do
00:25:46 --> 00:25:52 that by these weird leftoids. And it hit gaming,
00:25:52 --> 00:25:56 it hit almost every industry. And now we're seeing
00:25:56 --> 00:26:00 just how bad it was. And it was bad. And I hope
00:26:00 --> 00:26:03 that this is finally like the way it will come
00:26:03 --> 00:26:06 back around and we'll just get games that are
00:26:06 --> 00:26:11 fun to make and fun to play. No more DEI stuff.
00:26:12 --> 00:26:16 Just make fun games. People will love your game
00:26:16 --> 00:26:20 if it's fun and we're not just being bashed over
00:26:20 --> 00:26:25 with these weird Marxist ideologies. That's the
00:26:25 --> 00:26:29 problem that we've all had is just... No normal
00:26:29 --> 00:26:31 person liked it, but it was being pushed. Like
00:26:31 --> 00:26:33 it was this popular thing that everybody was
00:26:33 --> 00:26:36 like, yeah, this is, this is totally what I like.
00:26:36 --> 00:26:39 Yes. This is good. Yeah. No, it wasn't. I hope
00:26:39 --> 00:26:45 this is finally the turning point because it
00:26:45 --> 00:26:49 needs to stop. Our needs, our need of Sarkeesian
00:26:49 --> 00:26:54 needs to go away forever. Grifter and all these
00:26:54 --> 00:26:57 companies need to. to really look into this.
00:26:57 --> 00:27:00 Even Google is dropping their DEI because they
00:27:00 --> 00:27:03 know it's not good. They know it's not doing
00:27:03 --> 00:27:06 well for them. It'll eventually hit the gaming
00:27:06 --> 00:27:10 companies. Once they start losing enough money,
00:27:10 --> 00:27:12 they'll figure it out. They'll be like, okay,
00:27:12 --> 00:27:15 maybe this doesn't actually work. And they'll
00:27:15 --> 00:27:19 come crawling back. But right now they just,
00:27:19 --> 00:27:21 apparently they still need to learn their lesson.
00:27:22 --> 00:27:24 And I hope And for all of you that just didn't
00:27:24 --> 00:27:27 like it, you weren't crazy. You were just like
00:27:27 --> 00:27:29 me going, this doesn't make any sense. Just make
